The Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis was breached and set ablaze Thursday night as violent protests continued in the city -- and other cities across the U.S.

The last of the police had to be evacuated off the roof by helicopter!

Would be a damn shame if they find several dead bodies inside the burned down police station next to the ammo storage room. Those areas are notorious for having rounds go off due to the extreme heat. 🤷‍♂️😁

That scene is like a 3rd world country - the fall of Vietnam - in America at a police station!

Why did this happen? Most won't remember now. But a bunch of people got big screens and burnt down low income housing and the stores they shopped in. No logic here.

I can’t believe the far left liberal mayor would let this happen to his city. Bring in the National Guad, SWAT teams, whatever you have to and get that shit under control the minute it starts.
I’m not say what happened to the victim is right or that people don’t have the right to peacefully protest but the minute rioting, destruction, and looting starts shut shut that shit down one way or the other.

The crew, including correspondent Omar Jimenez, were handcuffed and detained as Jimenez gave a live report on a Minneapolis street shortly after 5 a.m. CT (6 a.m. ET).

Police told the crew they were being detained because they were told to move, and didn’t, one member of the CNN crew relayed to the network.

“A CNN reporter and his production team were arrested this morning in Minneapolis for doing their jobs, despite identifying themselves — a clear violation of their First Amendment rights. The authorities in Minnesota, including the Governor, must release the three CNN employees immediately,” CNN said in a statement.

Officers approached the crew – which also included producer Bill Kirkos and photojournalist Leonel Mendez — as they moved in to arrest a protester behind them.

This isn't a first amendment issue if your impeding the police during an emergency situation and don't obey commands you deserve to be in jail. Fuck CNN. Then they go on air and act all indignant...

The news has one job to educate and provide information to better equip a well informed electorate. I miss the CNN from the gulf war era.

Forget the idea of the GA national Guard, The California National Guard, the Illinois National Guard....etc. etc... too political and worthless.

Trump could end it real quick by "Federalizing" the National Guard. It would change everything.
Local Law Enforcement can't handle this model of violence.
