Spent the past week in the RV park and used the Can Am for transportation. Plenty of direct access trails to run. On the street on the Ft Mojave - Bullhead Az side the Leo’s leave you alone.
2 RV parks at the Avi. The KOA usually $18 a night full hook ups with your AAA card or free dry camping across the street.
The third area is now just semi truck parking.
Finally really good WiFi throughout.
The Avi Buffett is decent, prices hover around $10 to $18 up to $24 on Sunday.
No problem with comp drinks playing 25 cent video poker.
Poker machines take your money at the rate of 3 free cocktails per $20 wagered if you play strictly by the book.
Tip a couple bucks up front and that’ll be 6 drinks.
Word is Nevada Casinos now take (the rake) 33% of money wagered up from 26% a few years back. That’s the casino buzz I haven’t checked further.
Scuttlebutt. To gamblers rumor is king.
The machines are really tight. It’s really noticeable. Hardly any payouts at all.
Just occasional pair of face cards to keep you awake.
Craps it’s the Riverside in the winter and a few other spots in the summer. Has to be a wild noisy crowd at the dice table IMHO.
Nice Avi beach. We like it here. Good security.
They stop by and want to chat. I hear all the scuttlebutt. Snowbirds abandoning their dogs here is the latest they are dealing with.
Talking to local chick bartenders they tell
me over all interest in bars and gambling is down and business is spread thinner with more casinos appearing. Plus cell phone betting.
Milinials have other interests goes their tales.
Must be true. Walking around casinos it’s fewer and fewer blue hairs sucking on a life saver.
