Just had a cancellation for a River Closure/Patrol boat. Want the best seat in the house and get paid for doing it? Extremely light duty, basically sit back and enjoy the show. Contact Ross (310) 318-4012 or email [email protected]

For over 2 decades I spent every Thanksgiving weekend at the Bluewater race. Way back when the "Kilos" were run on the Friday, and the races were ran on Saturday and Sunday... Before APBA's ban on the open flatbottoms, this was the first race of Division 12 for the new year, not the last race of the current year. Because of this we usually got a lot of "out of Division" racers, some coming all the way from the east coast to earn valuable points towards APBA Championships...
As the old song said, "Those were the days my friend". The days of cherished memories, and life long friends... Now that Ross is using these dates to wrap up the season I'm sure the idea of memories and friends will continue on... I use to tell people that Burley was the race to go to, and maybe it still is, but Ross and his crew do wonders to put on top notch events all season long, and this Bluewater "Final" will surely be no different... So if you're sitting home wondering what to do with the family after the excitement of "Turkey Day", bring the family out to watch some top shelve racers put on a show you too will gain cherished memories from, and meeting new friends is almost guaranteed...
Who knows, you might just get "Bit by the racing bug" yourself and wind up participating in the Spring Bluewater race....
Be safe guys and girls, and keep the shinny side up...

The 2019 SCSC racing season has come to an end and what a great weekend of racing it was at The Blue Water Resort & Casino 73rd Annual Thanksgiving Regatta Presented by Nick Rose Insurance, Absolute Speed & Marine, Brink Property Mgmt, RaceTec Pistons, Amsoil, Unhinged Motorsports, Jet Re-Nu, Hot Rods & Hobbies & Twisted Liquid Marine.
With a special thanks to Chuck Skelton Racing, Pat Minegar - A-1 Heating & Air of Boise, ID, Megis Machine & Welding of Boise, ID, Waite Equipment Repair of Moreno Valley and Dr. Bob Fitzgerald for putting up the money for the F1 vs. K Boat "Turkey Shoot!"
Lot's of great racing concluded a year long season that started back in March at The Blue Water Resort. A few incidents but thankfully all racers returned safely home.
Once again, a big THANK YOU to all the SCSC Officials, staff, WMI Rescue and all volunteers!
Congratulations to all the winners and podium finishers and their teams! We are looking forward to Round #1 on March 14 & 15, 2020 at the Lake Ming Season Kickoff in Bakersfield!
