The wife comes home from a long day at work and comes inside and admits to me as she was getting her laptop out of the car in the garage her door hit my Caddy!:mad:

How would you handle this?

Like a man and admit shit happens. It's a driver not a concourse show car.

Be lucky her and her friends didn't jump up and down on the roof or think it would make a cool sled hill when there was snow on it.;)
Bummer about the small dent or whatever.

At least she left you a note.;):)
Maybe try calling a mobile paintless auto dent removal specialist?

1st.... Nice Avatar.... I was introduced to Rush with that album back in the 70's....

As far as the car? Those things happen.... I wouldn't say a word about it. Because paybacks are a bitch....

I’ll give you half of what you originally had it for sale for a couple months ago.

She knew it was an issue. leave it at that and drop it. This means drop it like it didn't happen.

BTW, how bad?

Between my kid and my wife I have a bit of a mess on one spot on the passenger front fender. Pisses me off but what are you going to do? The multiple thing is what really bothers me. I think the wife has realized this is a real issue but the 4 yr old.......

At the end of the day, its only a car. They realize the issue and are trying to be careful.

Why are you asking? You know you said, "WHAT!? Why would you carry things in from the car? That's my job." and then promptly went back to the kitchen to finish her dinner and get her a glass of wine, took her shoes off for her rubbed her feet and thanked her for buying you the caddie in the first place.

:D

A few years ago I had just sold my 59 Buick. The car was paid for, money in my bank. Title signed over and was still on my property waiting to the shipping company for transport to Sweden a few days after the sale. Well guess what phone call I get at work the next day. “Uh babe, I just backed the excursion into the 59” now obviously my first reaction was set on kill. But she said it wasn’t bad and that the excursion was damaged and not the sold 59 Buick. So I come home and not a scratch or dent on the real steel 59. R/R corner of excursion on the other hand was damaged. $1200 later excursion was good as new. My wife still brings up this story as we just laugh together about it.

Trophy Husband Oath: Be a man, step up to the plate and say nothing. Simply move your car over a bit giving her more accessibility when she needs to unload her car after a hard days work. Remember, actions speak louder than words...

Definitely some classic responses in this thread.:D
What’s it gonna matter when we’re all taking dirt-naps anyway? She’s more important than the car, right?
Let me get back to you.;):D
Seeing how she is the breadwinner in the family, isn't it really her Caddy?!:D
True.:p
Life of a house husband.

I have an idea. Can you parlay this into a threesome somehow. ;):D Guilt is a bitch
Been there done that. These days I care more about my cars.o_O Yes I'm getting old.:(

If I were her, I'd tell you to get a job and stop parking that old car in my garage. :p

Do what you usually do: grovel and beg her to forgive you. Next day you'll wake up and she'll be at work and your start your master baiting on RDP like nothing happened
