The great Joel Robert has died.

For you old motocrossers, six time world champion Joel Robert died of covid in Belgium. I saw him race a couple time last back in the early 70’s. He was 77. Legend in the sport.

Robert’s health deteriorated rapidly after being infected with Covid-19.

Sad how many lives this shit is taking.

He was the guy who drank and partied all night at the races. He smoked cigarettes and kept everybody else up. Then he went out and smoked the best riders in the world.
