I'm not sure weather to call it a truck or a ute?
Either way hes selling his earthmoving business and retiring so mum let him buy a new toy, 307sbc th400.

It going to be a lot of work to registered, as its hasn't been registered in Aust yet.

I think he lives in Australia.
I agree about the tail lights Hooter, was never a good look.
Those are great looking trucks and they had a nice long run. I like the early ones, my dad had a new '74, and I like the slope nose models too. Everything looks better lowered.

Well it's American so it's a truck. LOL.
307 is a pretty rare motor. More likely a 305? In front of a 400, that's an odd combo. I like it, I've had a couple.

They mandate that you have to convert to right hand steering correct? or are vehicles older than a certain age exempt?

A 307 with a TH400? I'm guessing if it truely is a 307 it's a 305 with a small bore job and someone swapped out the TH350 with a 400 (good swap).

And when you're posting in here, that's a good ol American Made TRUCK. You can gay it up and call it a "Ute" with your Aussie buddies if you'd like at home though. Lol!

I think ya good till 1990ish then ya gotta change them. Like all the new mustangs and Camaros that come over now since we've stopped making Holden Commadore and Ford Falcons, all have to be converted.

It was advertised as a 307, on the old title it said 305.
I haven't really had a good look over it yet.

Most old imports now days come over with no engine or transmission or exhaust or brakes, they take them all out over there because u can't import asbestos products.
So I'd imagine they've thrown in whatever they had and put a new exhaust on it and sold it.
Same deal as my chevelle, crate motor, new transmission, breaks and exhaust.

But this thing needs new tyres because they dont like some of your tyres, the tubs off something else so nothing is wired up... I agree get rid of those tail lights plus it needs orange indicators on the back.

Needs new springs, they just shortened these ones with the oxy. They near fall out on the hoist.

Everything after 1970 needs a engineers certificate too, so I cant just get one of the boys to do a rough roadworthy like i did with the 69.
