We live at west (quiet) side of Lake where you can run V drives & stv most days. We only venture to busy side once in a while & we are getting a 32' express cruiser to entertain. I absolutely WILL get another Skater someday

Giving the Shadow some spa treatment after her trip from NorCal to LOTO. Cleaned entire boat top to crawling around under. Deep clean & conditioned seats. Pulled all decals off cowling. Polished & waxed. Changed gear lube. Checked all wiring & rigging. Grabbing some new pfds & throwable. Found out she holds 50 gallons
Throw small collapsible anchor & new extinguisher in. Gas her up & ready for 80+ degrees Fri & Sat. Hopefully KingofBeers & wife can join me & F14. Sorry BlowMe can't make it

54 mile shakedown cruise yesterday went great. Rock solid boat, great acceleration with 25 pitch 3 blade. Enjoyed late lunch at Backwater Jacks

Hope to lower the front seats 1.5-2" today & see how much that helps with wind deflection. Probably do new thinner foam in seat bases also. Last resort will be a lil taller windshield. Great boat, exactly what I was looking for.

Yesterday we ran F14's lil 18' Crownline. Hit Hillbilly yacht club, Franky & Louies, & Jolly Rogers. Great relaxing day, water got a lil sporty for the Crownline when the wind picked up. Hope to checkout the in water boat show today & possibly get a ride in a 36' Wright Performance.

Hit the in water boat show @ Dog Days. Had the opportunity to ride with Joe Perog in his 360 Wright Performance. What an incredible machine. Joe is a true professional driver & wish more cat owners would respect the conditions like he did today. Wind was blowing 20-30 all day with gusts to 40. Mix in dozens of 40-60' cruisers on plane throwing 5 footers. We did 79 miles today in SHIT water & never once did i feel even close to uncomfortable. He wouldn't even let me buy lunch.....

Great weekend at LOTO! As usual Rob is the perfect host.

In the first pic you can see the grimace on my face. I had a small “incident” earlier in the day that resulted in my fat ass crashing down onto the corner of a dock. I was/am hurting like a mofo! Sitting at STL airport now getting ready to head home!

Alright already!! I admit, I’ve been slacking’.

Took my neighbors & their twin 6.5 yr old kids for a nice ride yesterday. Kids were ALL about swimming at the pool (Boondockz) & lake at Captain Rons. Another fantastic day.
Really looking forward to HydroSkreamin teaching me how to run this boat properly above 65mph this week. Have the Performance Boat Center fun run this coming Saturday
