Sorry I didn't take many pics. Had several compliments on Shadow yesterday. We charged hard from PBC to Cave bar, 10 miles thru fairly sloppy water. My neighbor in passenger seat said we were in the air more than the water. Smooth ride from Cave past our house & out to Big Dicks Halfway Inn. Back to our house to float in shade of the dock. Fantastic day with great friends. Hope HydroSkreamin posts pics & video of him driving PBC race boat

There was some nice hardware at the Performance Boat Center Fun Run, that’s a fact.

The Shadow looked good rolling or still.

The Velocity with twin 400R’s runs pretty good.

I had the privilege to have the wheel of the Performance Boat Center/FASS Diesel Systems SuperStock race boat from Big Dick’s back to the shop. What a riot! Never once dropped below triple digits for 25+ miles. A lot of faster boats tried to catch us, but average speed means more than top speed.

Looking forward to running something of my own next year.

Seriously?

Now you can go fuck yourself.

What an asshole.

Even Grads wouldn't sink that low, noted.

Dan'l

Again go fuck yourself.
Yea that's what I get for leaving the shop computer open with a bunch of drunks around. Surprised there wasn't more. Don't beat me up bro.

Nice little blast to the up to the Gorge down to The Springs and back before work. Who knew it’s only a 30min trip. 😳. Thanks for the ride @Bullhead bully

When you say "only a 30 minute trip" I am assuming your are throwing a heaping dose of sarcasm on the reality of a very high average speed. Right?

Also, this reminds me of something I saw a few months ago. I think it was this same boat, and it was something to the effect of London Bridge to Davis Dam and back in like less than 2 hours or something. Which I thought was an incredible trip. The boat and the names are bringing back memories. Please tell me I'm right and I'm not going crazy! Somebody is doing boating the way I would if I've got this all correct, which is badass.

The avg speed was up there. We didn’t stay much under 90-95 for any stretch except to turn around. It really made the lake small. Bad ass boat for sure.

Paul and I averaged 93 mph for and hour and a half. We went up past the Gorge, turned around and went all the way down the lake to the Springs...
And then back to Windsor beach. I posted the Nordics GPS display...I challenge anyone just to attempt it. We made the run just before sunset.

Truly one of our fastest sustained runs.
We had a session in Powell that was memorable as well. The Nordic is a formidable endurance racer...

Testing 12" a manual, Hydrodynamics plate, holeshot vs CMC 9.5" with less angle. Rolls over in less than 3 mississippis now vs 4 mississippis, before. with a tournament load. Wish I woulda switched from day 1. Overall handling is 10 times better. Remounted transducers as well.

Not much going on today in the Keys. Gear lube change on the 300xs and bleed the steering one last time. Still a little slop that bugs the shit outta me. Waiting on some new brackets for the boat lift bunks too.

I sincerely appreciate Bill's passion for speed. I've never owned an STV. I've been in a few with 2.5 & one with 250XS. I'd LOVE to hear from people with experience in both about the handling characteristics & prop choice.
I really hope he props it for acceleration around the twisty Delta & doesn't chase the big #

52 years old, parents took me boating when I was 1 week old. I still get extremely excited every time I go boating, on almost every boat.
Last night I took my neighbor & his 6 yr old son out for a quick sunset cruise. I told my buddy to drive & get his boy on his lap to steer. I'm getting goosebumps thinking about when my Grandpa used to teach my brother & me how to drive boats then cars. Had a fantastic evening. Hopefully this lil boy will be a boater for life. He LOVED it

That Shadow is staying fresh. Apparently it was “take your neighbor to work day” today.

@lake p.a.l. picked me up at my dock at 7:30, let me run his boat 17 miles to my work, plus some extra screw off running, and picked me up at 5:30 to do a little boating, grabbed some supper at Pappa Chubby’s, and came sliding into home just as the sun was setting and the moon was rising.

What a great commute!
