This is a Progression...

Wild Bill could elaborate more on the boat. Popular on the east coast, as I understand....
Looks real similar to a Sutphen (if I'm remembering how to spell it). Good looking boats and were real runners. Haven't heard anything about them in quiet a while.

Had a great ride in the 38' Doug Wright...
Over 100 mph thru the slop of a few hundred boats! Impressive!

Also, Gil Fallon of Fallon Marine, (our favorite mechanic) was along for the ride!

Big thanks to Sandy D for the killer ride!

That's a box I'd like to check one day. Ride along in a doug Wright. Cockpit looks like a jet. All business.

Shootout was postponed until maybe tomorrow ....Bully took this shot yesterday from the Cirrus ...

Here it is! The Church's Cirrus got 300 images from the air. I will be filtering the best ones for your consumption!

Big thanks to River Dave and his lovely wife, Stacy, for ANOTHER raging party at Shugrue's last night...

Music, Drinks, cute girls, photo booths, and a great setting. Poor RD, partied so hard he lost his voice! Safe to say, everyone had a blast. I need a vacation from my vacation! :skull

Still a bit windy...Shootout is a possibility.... We will see as the morning progresses.

UPDATE: Shootout cancelled

lol @ Bullys shirt.

I have mine on right now. LOL.

The run to Davis Dam was incredible. BIG thanks to Bully and War Canoe for the invite. I have never been north of the Needles bridge. I don't think I would make that run with anyone but Bully behind the wheel. Thank you again.

The indoctrination has begun....

What a weekend. My ass is currently in a wagon from all the things that Bully and I were up to.

Special thanks to Bully... Every time is the best time!!

Special thanks to Sandy of SDR RACING. Allowing me a ride in his Doug Wright 38' was a memorable experience.

I think RDP did an incredible job , hosting a street party, a party at his home, AND an after party that was epic. Dave and his wife Stacy are the nicest hosts in Havasu! So for that, RDP gets the hospitality award of Desert Storm.

We can't wait until next year...The Church thinks we should add air races to the event !! We have a badass entry. Do you think we will get outlawed again? Is 500 mph too fast? We don't think so. :rolleyes

F14 and I took my Skater to Lake Berryessa on Saturday. The water is crystal clear and absolutely no debris floating anywhere. It was fantastic. Our friends took their 30 Motion and we ripped up the lake.

I fly with an experienced, well trained pro...
AND the planes we fly, both Cirrus, have a parachute in case of emergency.

I feel safer in the plane than on the road with all the knuckleheads. We do appreciate the nice thoughts.

The plane crash looks like an IKON maybe? Either way its wadded up pretty good!

Flying is the safest means of transportation period! But when shit does go down, your training and experience kicks in, that's why you can never have enough of both!

Oceangoer is on RDP, he's selling that 30 Motion. We saw that plane crash site from far away but didn't get near it.
A few pics from last week on the Delta.

Yes Darcy, It was an ICON. The factory is near the lake in Vacaville. They were on a test flight.

Rev, bring some fiberglass down the hill and run from Rusty Porthole to Sacramento with us for lunch tomorrow. Or just launch in Sac, have lunch with us, then run down the river with us. We are gonna launch at B&W because it's supposed to be very windy over our way and I don't feel like fighting 5+ footers thru Concord and Pittsburg.

Launched at B&W, met friends at Rusty Porthole, then thru Rio Vista up Steamboat Slough to Sac River, had lunch at Crawdads (fantastic), back thru Walnut Grove and Georgianna Slough. 113 miles, max speed 98.3mph, showing friends a big chunk of the Delta they had never seen by boat is what it's all about. We had our Skater, Pete's 30 Motion, both with 300 XS, Adam's 24 DCB, I will get more pics from others to post.

These are the original poems that started the church. Almost 10 years old now. Some of my favorites

From the reverend

"After the run"

After our run,
when your motor is wasted,
I'll piss on your blower,
and ask how defeat tasted.

We'll all see the hole,
in the side of your block,
and THEN you'll be quiet,
after all of this talk.

Then you get to spend,
another thirty grand,
to assemble another relic,
I just don't understand...

When it is all back together,
all shiney and new,
The Canoe will be there,
to destroy that one too...

bring all your buddies,
I'll smoke them with pleasure,
ten in one day,
would be my treasure...

My offer still stands,
and I'll buy the gas,
bring on your big blocks,
and I'll kick your ass....

Church is just a few days away...get 'em ready for judgement day....

Go pull your strings
like all women do
to start up that junk
the boat War Conoe

Bring on your bottle
I'll leave mine at home
cause I'll kick that ass
on motor alone

You beat on your boat
like an interstate trucker
and just like his rig
you're a slow mother fucker

A Civic can go
as fast as your boat
they are the same
just one doesn't float

I would rather a boat
be seriously quick
than one that cruises all day
looking for dick

You outboarders hate me
I'm all attitude
I eat up on Mercury's
and shit Evinrudes

I look at your rides
and think you are dorks
Did I tell yah the story
about me and John Force??

Snappy reply...

You say I drive mine,
like an interstate trucker,
but I rather be boating,
than be a sand sittin' focker...

You say you eat mercurys,
and shiat Evinrudes,
but you never show up,
you're out with the dudes...

I gave you the honor,
of the puny 1/4 mile,
come out of the crib,
and I'll wipe off that smile...

Your style of boating,
is really the worst,
any pussy can drive,
a three second burst...

come out come out,
wherever you are,
but you're always suckin drinks,
with the queers at the bar...

my whacker is like a,
knife in your ribs,
that's why you dorks,
boat only in cribs...

you cant do lefts,
and you can't do rights,
you can only go straight,
and go thru the lights..

I roll more in a day,
at way higher speeds,
than you could do in a month,
with your overrated steeds...

you say I'm false,
you say I'm phony,
but everybody knows,
you're the "one trick pony"....:lmao:lmao:lmao
