Thursday and Friday....Come watch the Church Outboards put the embarrassment on some V-Drives !!!
Bill E in his Quartermaster 2.5 Drag ...
Kevin Kraft in the Jaguar Drag...
You need to run in the 9’s or better to beat these boyz. The smart V-Drivers will refuse to race.
A car boat guy told me if I race those Outlaw Outboards, I’m supposed to win....
But if I lose I get laughed at by the fans....
And most V-Drives lose to fast outboards.

pretty observant....for a car boat guy! View attachment 956221 View attachment 956222 View attachment 956221 View attachment 956222

Go get em guys!! If the wind picks up to 30+ mph I can drag my tank up there & have a good chance......

Camp Far West was a hoot...
The Church’s outboards were on point....
Bill E in his Quartermaster showed a Hydro jet, with 800 HP , what was up....needless to say the crowd was in disbelief. Bills boat is vicious. Here’s a few shots of the eye candy...it was everywhere.

Just had lunch at Rusty Porthole after laying down 83 miles. Gonna run to Benicia, spend night at home with my HOT wife, cook dinner for her birthday, then bring friends out tomorrow & lay down another couple hundred miles. FUCK covid

Good luck getting me lost in the Delta!!!!!!
I didn't have anywhere i needed to be so I carved up the backwaters for a bit & enjoyed how the Skater carves some turns. Sat and enjoyed a beverage, told me buddy Jon Bloom how much I missed him, then stopped at Porthole. Ran HARD from Porthole to Benicia. Flew the Skater flat & long off a cruiser roller, had a blast.

Today: leave Benicia marina +/- 10:30 meet friends with car motor boat at Rusty Porthole then out thru Rio Vista on Sacramento River, thru 5 Points around the back waters to Walnut Grove, lunch at Tonys, back down thru Georgiana Slough & back to my repaired trailer in Discovery Bay.
Car motor boats tongue will be dragging by the time we get back.......

Where the tabs attach to the transom, I’d recommend you put an additional plate...the 3 screw stock set up isn’t very strong.
I had mine like that, and tore the upper mounts off when landing nose high...
Adding the additional mounting plate and through bolting it,

strengthened it considerably and no problems ever again.

If I had it to do over , I would polish the aluminum plates.... then it would look factory.

They are just mocked up now. Need to have holes for swim steps filled and gel fixed. I thought about having them powder coated black to match jack plate.

Little Sunday Delta session. Would have loved to run some miles with lake p.a.l yesterday but domestic obligations took precedent.

I’m on bonfire duty lately...
3 more big ones and I’m done. I have so many trees that are in excess of 100’ it’s ridiculous....bad weather brings them down.

Wish I was smart enough to know how to post video of Boatmasters flying by me today when we were rolling 100mph. Thankfully there isn't video of Highvoltage329 going by me at almost 130mph.
We had a FANFUCKINTASTIC day!! Launched in Benicia, ran to Rusty Porthole then Windmill for lunch. Thankfully there were some huge cruiser wakes to slow Drew down but Highvoltage329 knows his new MTI & he has 300hp more than me.
We absofrickinlutely LOVE our 308 Skater, not the fastest or overly pretty, FANTASTIC boat.
119+ miles today, 100.49mph max speed with 4 peeps, gear, & bunch of fuel, incredible with only 600hp
