Tomorrow morning my buddy Tim Bloom & I will launch the Skater in Benicia & head to the Delta, rain or shine, to remember his brother Jon. We lost Jon 6 years ago today when his Stoker spun out & he was ejected. We will meet Highvoltage329 & KingofBeers with their wives at the crash site near Discovery Bay then off to Garlic Brothers for lunch. Spend the night in a cabin @ B&W Resort. Sunday morning run thru Montezuma Slough up to La Cabana in Suisun for breakfast then maybe out to SF Bay if wind permits.
Get out & enjoy life with family & friends

Ran the Cougar 50 miles this morning...Steering was flawless! Not one hiccup in the whole trip. Super happy with the fix.
Ran my 28.5 Hydromotive thru hub 4 blade. 2 people , 40 gallons on board, ice chest, 25 pound anchor, and assorted gear. Ran 100 mph, 6500 rpm, 7.65 slip

Filled her back up with fuel and put her back in the Cat Cave.

Weather looks great! Be safe, and have a great day of memories, laughter, and a Guinness or 10.

99+ miles yesterday, hydromotive 4 blades barely get to 100mph, DeWald 5 blades are best for my tank but I broke one. Highvoltage329 runs absolute circles around me with his 340 MTI but I was able to get past him thru the cruiser wakes. Absofrickinlutely LOVE our 308 Skater

Huge thanks to Mr & Mrs Highvoltage329 for their continued incredible hospitality inviting our buddy Tim Bloom & me to spend the night at their place. Highvoltage329 & me taught KingofBeers & Tim not to talk smack during corn hole.
Tim drove the Skater from Benicia to Discovery Bay then to lunch @ Garlic Bros

KingofBeers, me, & our awesome wives will truly miss our INCREDIBLE friends, Mr & Mrs Highvoltage329, they will visit us at Lake of the Ozarks & we will be back to visit the Delta. My wife & I have been incredibly lucky to meet several life-long friends since moving to the Bay area 8 years ago. Sadly Kommiefornia is not a place we could ever retire. The new adventure @ LOTO will begin soon..........

As usual, had a blast out on the water with lake p.a.l. and his copilot for the day, Mr and Mrs Highvoltage329, and of course my awesome wife. Im definitely going to miss the Delta and all the friends we've made over the last several years. But the time has come to move on and terrorize a new body of water and spread the gospel of the church.

That 340X MTI is unreal, charges hard well beyond 125 with 4 people & bunch of fuel. That video makes my turd look a lil faster than it is. Had a spectacular breakfast at La Cabana in Suisun this morning.
188 miles total over last 2 days. Top speed 100.07 running with the outgoing tide this morning. Our Skater is preparing to live on a lift at LOTO and not run salt & brackish water all the time.
Fantastic weekend with wonderful friends remembering our lost buddy Jon Bloom.

Part of what you say is true. We are VERY lucky to have great friends around us here in Kommiefornia. My wife is a fantastic human, im generally an A-hole unless I'm on the water getting my boating "fix" and my wife understands my obsession. We've already met a few great people at LOTO.

On the Mississippi river. We boat in between the Winfield dam and the Alton dam I believe it is. I think we are considered pool 26 if I remember correctly.

I have never locked through but I would imagine you guys could since Yall like to run those crazy miles that im super jealous about. Downriver towards Alton is a town called grafton. They have a couple of nice bars and restaurants you can boat to and usually have live music and stuff

Thats like 3hrs away....we'll definitely come run around over there. Bars on the water...CHECK! Looks like ~40mi from dam to dam? Also looks like you can run quite a way up the Illinois River from there as well?

Locking thru is no big deal if there's a destination in the next pool.
Someday I will run the entire Mississippi River top to bottom. Already ran the Ohio River from Mississippi River to Pittsburgh, PA

As a kid, I always remembered how gorgeous the Illinois side was and water seemed to always be like glass.

You're my hero for the trip you documented on the Ohio River.

A group of us were looking at making the Mississippi run 20-some years ago, locking and fuel were the biggest deals.

Please make sure to look me up if you start planning this. I'm very interested. I've got a friend with a weekend place over in SW WI, and I intend to get over there and check out those locks. He's got a race carbon 340X MTI w/twin 400R's which runs hard that lives over there.

I've got plenty of friends with places in the LOTO area, as well, so looking forward to seeing your ride there as well.

Definitely nothing heroic but my family had the best time of our lives making the Ohio River adventure.
Haven't started planning the entire Mississippi River trip yet. I learned a LOT from our 2016 trip. Running down river will be a must, saving time & fuel. Outboard powered boat will be a must. Taking WAY more time, slow down, enjoy the experience are all musts. Hopefully there will be at least a few boats that join me on this Mississippi River adventure.
Those 340 MTI's are incredible machines. Hope to see your badass outboard someday.

We outboard Tards need to start talking about a group of us doing a Mississippi River run from top to bottom. A bunch of whackers cruising 50-60mph the entire way would be INCREDIBLE.
Wonder if anyone is interested??? Life is short, let's do this.....

Dear employees,

I wanted you all to know that I will be out of the office with little to no cell or internet service the entire month of October. I will be in Missouri looking at a couple new projects we are bidding.

Please bring an extra stunt liver..........
