Tear down both docks tomorrow & build 1 serviceable dock with a slip & lift for our Skater.
My brother & reinforcements get here about 12:30
I'm as prepared as possible, gonna be a SHIT-TON of work but couldn't afford a new dock right now.
Huge thanks to my brother & great friends

Took the Canoe for a serious hot lap of the lake.....conditions were incredible. The Canoe didn’t disappoint. We were doing some bold dog leg turns up through the fingers. Sliding controllably at speed is exhilarating to say the least. Timing an apex perfectly and you are rewarded with the perfect angle on the next turn...I love that shit.

Yesterday we removed & cut apart 1 dock to use as parts. Cut out pieces of the main dock to widen the slip to 16' to assist with entrance & exit. Today we will get a few hours of work in then I'm taking the guys down to view Lake Race. Its 39 miles down to the dam. Weather is supposed to be perfect 85°

This Sat & Sun KingofBeers & me are gonna head over to Lake Lucas in Wheatland, MO to help our buddy Bill with his badass outboard race boat. He is very good at hurting feelings of big block carmotor guys....

cardboard-light that rips off 8.60s at 123mph in full quarter mile with a little 2.5L fishing motor on mix of pump/race gas ALL motor..just for reference it takes a SUPER light well setup jetboat a 1000 horsepower to run same:oops:

I'm pretty sure an F1 Mercury outboard is not a fishing motor, lol

Bills best run yesterday was 7.09 at 123mph for 1000' with .255 reaction time. He runs TE (top eliminator) which is 7.0 second bracket. 24 pitch 3 blade prop seems to be right. He will need to step it up today. I believe he qualified 9th in TE. Had a blast yesterday, learned a lot. Headed back to Wheatland, 61 miles from my house, in just a bit.

Good afternoon Everyone - I have a quick question on a new boat I got. I wanted to run it before hauling up to a lake and I wasn't able to get the hose adapter. Can I run it in a trash can or tub?

I tried that with my 300r and it took forever to piss. I wasnt a fan so I actually ended up jamming the hose next to the water intake and trying to cup around it with my hand and it pissed right away. God....That whole thing sounds dirty....🤣

Our buddy Bill got hammered at the reaction time & lost 7.04 to 7.12 in 1st round this morning at Lake Lucas. What an AMAZING facility, TOP NOTCH, if anyone ever wants to visit. Great people

95% of time race is won with better reaction time..you have to be consistent and repeatable (sp).those KDBA racers are ROUGH company and can run .0X reaction times pass after pass!also boat has to run 7.0X even when corrected air density gets horrible as it gets hotter..i heard it was around 4000' corrected elevation:(

COOL beans,i wasn't the best at it,but I got lucky at my 2nd race I entered with IHBA back in 2006 at Chowcilla,Ca.I was the only whacker in my Modified Eliminator class against 17 "cast-iron-pan"big blocks:).I was on a roll and made it to semifinal round against previous year R/U champ John Rodgers in his "psycopath" flat bottom.will luck would have it I banged the light with a triple xero R/T and laid down a perfect 10.00!funny part about it is John went right to his motor builder at the track and was trying to explain to him that he still had a chance to win that round and who is this dork with an egg-beater going rounds:pWe get to final round and I get champ Dave Lipinsky.i get a better R/T by .08 and we photo-finish with yours truly breaking out by .0015 and Dave runs a 10.01 for the win

It could take a long time in a bucket like that, not to mention burning up your water pumping Impeller, the water pump is at the bottom of the black painted mid section so that needs to really be underwater to start up. If you get a flush or kit for a nose cone low water pick up you can force water to the water pump with the hose.
