I am trying to get it sorted by tomorrow.

I am aware of the slow upload speeds, the login problem.. and overall “glitches”.. if something major is going on I don’t know about please let me know.

I dunno but they tried and succeeded again three fucking times.. we have some sort of fix bow but I don’t think it’s over.

I can tell ya if I find out who it is they are gonna ducking regret it.

I don’t think any of those guys know how to do that kinda shit.. it wouldn’t surprise me if they posted it on some boards though and found someone that did.

It’s very malicious and it is directed at this site not Just random servers.

There is an investigation going on already. The hosting company said that often times the people that do this want to get caught to get some kinda street cred.. the guy was laughing saying this isn’t the 80’s anymore and it doesn’t work like that anymore.

If they get it nailed down they will let me know. I am debating on calling the fbi for cyber crimes

The site is a target and the enemy may be international. The provider should be using cloud encryption to stop the threat.

So what happened? I missed that part. What’s the story? I know the site was down but what was the cause and how do you know it was a targeted attack?

In another thread, RD posted that it is believed to be the work of bored younger persons who have been stuck at home because of the "pandemic" and have learned coding/hacking skills during that time. It is known that the attack is directed specifically at RDP because the web service that hosts the site has moved it between several different servers of theirs with the last move putting us on our own isolated server where the attacks still continued to persist.

....is what I got from it.

Well that's a Denial of Service attack. Dead grandmothers can do it now with all the script kiddie tools out there now. Get a Cloudflare plan and they can detect and stop the DoS attacks that would otherwise down the site. Moving web servers does nothing if they are going after the DNS name.

GoDiddy offers nothing like CloudFlare does, and I'm pretty sure you know this.

If you don't, you should check out what CF has to offer! Even on their free plans they are head and shoulders above Anyone else.



P.S. Check out GD's stock compared to CF's stock while you're at it.
