You know stuff like this, is just great. I hope that someday when I am doing really well I can offer to fly kids around in my plane or take them for boat rides that they dream of.

Maybe people are just a little choked up to reply.

I did read in the paper today about an 11 y.o. girl who, ever since her 6th birthday has donated every birthday present to the Make A Wish Foundation. She's raised over $3g's.

Pretty cool. I'll see if I can find the link.

Hopefully Make A Wish can continue doing these good deeds. I saw a story not long ago where a kid word his wish in away that let him keep getting EVERYTHING he ever wanted and then some. Make A Wish was interviewed and said they had to keep giving him his wish until they were broke. Now that would be sad.

I think these type of threads make people somewhat ...uncomfortable.....and cause them to think. They may be considered by some to be, inappropriate for a site like this.....but on occasion I like to challenge people to think...My hats off to those who try to brighten the day of a terminally Ill child...

I love these threads, makes you count your blessings for the children that we all have without that terrible "c" word, be thankful for what you have cause something like that can come along at anytime..
If we only posted threads like this people would respond to them, get rid of the crap and focus on the good....k I am done...:D
