I'm in panic mode. My last one gallon jug of Sambal Oelek is almost gone. Like @Gramps said, breakfast can't be eaten without it. This is a fucking emergency.
is this what you use???

So glad I stocked up a few months ago during the initial shortage. I was in panic, getting ready to drive from havasu to bullhead just to replenish but we finally found a stash at bashas.

David (founder/owner) was one of my customers at on time. A very interesting man and a daughter that knew her shit. I never really cared for the product though.

I’m out of sambal sauce and now my orange chicken is bland. The last two jars I had in the pantry had bad seals and the sauce went bad. Now I’m jonesing for my spicy sauce and nobody has it. You can bet that when it does come back the price will have at least doubled.

I'm initiating my emergency contingency protocols. Tomorrow I'm going to order a half gallon of Cholula. It's only $18.99.

I'm so glad I only use Tapatio...kept a bottle in my lunch box for years, and now relegated to eggs and toast, or homemade burritos🤣

The TX Pete’s is more of a smokey flavor—just eh IMO.
Sweet chili sauce is real good and can be put in soups too.
The real Sriracha was only bought a month ago.
You will not find at WalMart—you have to search at the Asian markets, that’s where we always find it.

Just as good as the original IMO
Trader Joe’s!

Another cheap sauce I really like with breakfast eggs etc. is Texas Pete’s, I found it through hotel stays (like Tabasco’s).
