So are you implying that criminal defense lawyers should decide who they think is guilty and plead the case accordingly?


Because as disgusting as this case is the defense lawyer in question appears to be the only one who actually did their job...

As corrupt and, well I could go on and on, and as absolutely horrible this case was... I have to agree HC may have been the ONLY one doing their job. If I remember correctly, sexual assault cases were horribly investigated and even more traumatic to victims back in the 70's. There has been much reform in that area of law since. I would wager this is not likely to happen again.



HC is still a piece of SHIT.

Any lawyer that would attack the victim in court is a pos. Nothing wrong wth zealous defense, but there is a huge difference between ethices and morals. You need both.

I'm sure your a decent and honest person but that struck me hard, to me it sounded like that was ok with you. I sure you feel the same but not voting for him is a vote for her. I again defy anybody here to fnd a post where I make an explicit statement supporting HRC.


Refusing to buy into the line that she somehow is to blame for a young girls rape because she was better at her job than the defense attorney is flawed logic.

Do you really want attorneys deciding how strong of a defense to make? You might not like the outcome in this case and neither do I but it sure as hell is better than making legal defense subject to the moral compass of lawyers.

If I was unjustly accused of raping someone...I'd find another lawyer if they didn't attack "the victim's" credibility in court.

That's the thing about lawyers.
