There is actually a term for your behavior...

Cognitive Accommodation

To understand this moment in the United States, "it helps to know more about psychology than politics," said Peter Wehner, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center who worked for three Republican administrations.

Wehner believes conservative Trump supporters may be experiencing what he calls "cognitive accommodation" — they've adapted to so much unusual behavior that to turn on the president now would be too hard.

"At this point, condemnation of Trump is condemnation of themselves," said Wehner. "It's too painful. It's less about defending Trump than defending their own defense of Trump."
You know there's lots of stuff I don't like about Trump, but it's all about what I perceive as worse, and it isn't even close. Your ilk will never convince me that full term abortion, open boarders, 50 plus genders, socialism, sanctuary cities ect, is the way to go, I could go on and on, all you have to do is look at any place in the nation controlled by democrats. Now you want to continue with what the most corrupt administration in history has done over the last decade or so? Weaponizing the IRS, CIA, FBI, DOJ, and we haven't even touched on all the pay for play going on with Clinton and others all orchestrated by obama. Liberals and the democrat party right now are scum and destroying this country. Better enjoy it now, because when Horowitz, Durham and Barr are done I have a feeling things are going to change. There has been a underhanded all out scheme to impeach Trump since before he was even elected, and you don't like the way he fights back, rich. If the lying ass media would do their job this version of the democrats would never see power again.

It is really funny. His ego is very fragile and it's been obvious ever since Trump won. I'm assuming it will be this way for about another 5 years.

I assume it will be, and has been, this way his entire life.

Good morning Squeezer.

I'm not so sure that you will ever really understand how we "Trumpkins" feel. Most of us (not all) are not really Trump supporters by your definition. We are more "Getting America back to being America" and Trump is the vessel accomplishing this (trying) I know I've made my feelings clear to you on my feelings towards the man.

That said, I love that he is America first.

What I don't get is this; Unemployment at a 50 year low, all minorities and women at all time highs (employment). Food stamps reduced by 7 million users since the election. And your side wants him to fail.

Conversely-"our side" wanted Obama to fail in the exact polar way. We identified his policies as detrimental to America, America's defense by so many metrics.

We want a successful agenda to succeed and an unsuccessful one to fail, you wish for a successful one to fail and an unsuccessful one to succeed.

Just now watching Cavuto. Looks like a trade deal with China is in the works- phase one includes 40-50 Billion dollars in agricultural product by China. 2-3 times its historical high point. Is this failed and ineffective?

Mornin’ Steve!

Hey Buddy!! You still on the mountain or home?

Ya know, in my view, it all really comes down to my post. They want to blame us for loving America to succeed by tying our support for such as supporting a repugnant man.

Now, I know many, MANY in here won't agree that he is a repugnant figure. But you by knowing me, get it. I have the "cognitive ability" to separate out the good and the bad as I see things. Its not "everything he says is good" or "everything he says is bad"

I supported a few things Obama did - even if he didn't support the mission to kill UBL, he was Commander in Chief when it happened and I'll give him credit for doing so. even a few other policies. These guys will not even give Trump a thumbs up for the record low unemployment. They want to assign that to Obama.

Remember when he said “character is measured by the number of enemies one creates” or words to that effect?
Oh yeah. And when he senses those enemies don't give him enough to fuel the hate, he rouses them. His lie about the comment he insists you made is a prime example. He can't stand to be ignored so he can complain he's being picked on......He literally HATES it

Headed home this afternoon.
Pretty easy last day for a change.
Tripping out of the hole now for BHA swap so after that I’ll take off while they trip back to bottom.
Should get back to bottom (8500’) just about the time my night hand comes on shift.

Your post is dead on the money.
Even the oracle has no offering as an effective alternative to Trump.
The haters span all political ideology, and are laser focused (consumed?) by that undefined hate.
It makes one wonder if their “idea” of success is in fact failure?
By extension, anyone who fails to vehemently demonstrate a violent opposition to Trump is a target for unbridled violence.
I have never argued that Trump is an upstanding human being.
He’s as big or bigger an asshole as anyone. Cheats, talks shit, etc, and is no particular role model when it comes to leading an impeccable life.

But he IS pro America. He IS the enemy of the “deep state” or whatever label one would use for the entrenched cesspool of criminals that is our so called “government”.

He’s got a mouth the size of the Grand Canyon, an ego as big as the great outdoors, balls of lead, and he’s got my vote again in 2020.

Another load of manure Biff.....

Trump is but a hired gun that has the ability to get down in the gutter and fight the same style of war as the Dems and entire DC Establishment. He was not elected to be nice, but to expose the mess that our government has degenerated into. His anti PC style is what the nation and world for that matter needs to succeed.

Compare him to the original Patriot style that defeated the British. Guerilla warfare to defeat the structured style used to cover the up the nasty tactics and attitudes. It's a huge war of egos and the biggest likely wins.

I've never had a beer with a POTUS, nor do I care to. I just want somebody that will fight the corruption and greed to make the nation stronger for the people.....Whether many of those people realize it or not, he's fighting for them

Then how do you explain all the convictions for corruption of senior officials of Trump’s campaign?

How do you explain that the President’s personal lawyer just had two associates arrested for corruption that were attempting to flee the country?

How do you explain holding up 400 million of congressional approved aid to our ally for unexplained purposes other than personal gain?

How do you explain a sitting president standing in front of the White House and asking a foreign country, China, to interfere with the upcoming 2020 elections?

I agree the democrats are corrupt, but how do you turn away from the obvious corruption of the current President and those closely around him?

How do you not see through the bullshit on the nightly news?

You've completely picked up the liberal media script and are frantically posting it trying to avoid the facts biting your boys in the ass. Note, I'm not separating the rinos and establishment hacks from the Dems when I say your boys. Desperation from the whole crew is exactly why I support Big Don.

Last week a good friend here at the Landing was visiting Family in DC.The family has access to some sort of pass to be at the WH in a secure area when the Chopper is coming in with Trump aboard.Trump usually fucks with the Press for relaxation before departure or on return(more ? answered than any past Presidents). Anyways, here these people are in a small roped off area damn close to Trump on the walk to the House.Sure enuff he walked over, shook hands with everyone,Talked to my friend for just a few secs, a sincere few minutes with people. He said it was incredible.
Also, just about every time Trump exits or boards the Chopper he talks with the pilots.Same deal with the military walking with him @ AF 1 on the tarmac.Always a few words and friendly.
Watch the Clintons around the people helping them, proven fact they abuse people. No doubt the morons here do the same. The haters have come to the end of the road, especially in this forum. The laughs are done & Gone, like watching a rerun of a lousy comedy.

Remember, for the dumbasses here. The Ukrainians explicitly said that 1) there was no pressure from Trump for them to investigate anything, directly or indirectly. and 2) That there was pressure from Biden to fire the prosecutor because he was looking into Burisma and Hunter's relationship.

Whether you believe them to be truthful is another point, but those are the facts we are dealt with.

There's absolutely, positively no way Obama, Clintons, Pelosi, Warren, or any other democrat could negotiate any kind of deal for America, period. They don't even have the ability to think about it.

That's one reason why I support Trump.

And we should also remember what the top US diplomat to Ukraine said,

“As I said on the phone, I think it’s crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign,”

Whether you believe him to be truthful is another point, but that and other statements confirming his beliefs are also the facts we are dealt with.

Then how do you explain all the convictions for corruption of senior officials of Trump’s campaign?

Fired for what? Actual legit crimes or perjury during questioning. If that perjury was actually covering up crimes related to YOUR President, don't you think we would have detailed information on them by now?

How do you explain that the President’s personal lawyer just had two associates arrested for corruption that were attempting to flee the country?

Associates or Clients?

How do you explain holding up 400 million of congressional approved aid to our ally for unexplained purposes other than personal gain?

Go ask Biden, or any of the other politicians over the years that somehow seem to get real rich while making a higher than most salary, but definitely not a multi million dollar salary. Start with your Best buddy and let us all know how that works out.

How do you explain a sitting president standing in front of the White House and asking a foreign country, China, to interfere with the upcoming 2020 elections?

Provide a direct quote to your accusation, then we can discuss the semantics involved and more than likely the exact same things every president or politician before him has requested from foreign governments.

I agree the democrats are corrupt, but how do you turn away from the obvious corruption of the current President and those closely around him?

We agree, politicians in general are corrupt. Just like your buddy. What I don't agree with is one party controlling the narrative and obviously embellishing one side, while completely ignoring the other.

Clearly you believe Mr. Taylor is not telling the truth. Certainly your right.

But others have come to a different conclusion.

As I have previously stated, I think an investigation into the facts is appropriate and if the Executive Branch has nothing to hide they would cooperate. But in either case, I would not vote to impeach as a Representative nor convict as a Senator.

There is an election in a year. Let the voters decide and let’s hear from the will of the people. Everyone can come to their own conclusion and vote accordingly with respect to control of the executive branch, the House and the Senate.

Rand Paul was presented with similar questions as yours from F-Chuck Tod this morning......He put it right back in Chuck's lap on how D's refused to explain or deal with Biden. Same as here. Rand also went on to comment on why the hell we need to give any sort of aid to Ukraine in the first place.

Like F-Chuck, your only point is to discredit Trump. I agree on letting the voters decide, but only after the likes of Biden and others get investigated with equal vigor as the bullshit attempts on Trump

It is more than a disgrace and/or travesty that the owners/controllers of MSM do not share the same sentiment....w/o honest and non-biased reporting the "voters' are deprived, blinded, and obscured from hearing all the truths .....thus the "will of the people" is lost as founded on false narratives...... hard to reach their "own conclusions" when they are only presented with one side of the arguments......especially when that one sided objective is to destroy.....this is where I say you need to stop "acting" so naive because in doing so, you are just as guilty as they......

I hear Bob Mueller is available, Oh wait that's been done for 2 years and 28 million cost, How about Michael Avenenatti I hear he and Stormy have Trumps # Or we could hear from Blaisely Ford. Is it just me or is this ongoeing horseshit getting old?

For a majority of Americans it is not getting old.

They love drama, that is how the US ended up with a reality TV host as president.

I thought the battle cry was that Trump lost the popular vote?

And America ended up with a democratically controlled House, and a blue Arizona, because of your choice for President.......

Time will tell what else you deliver to America.

From a political strategic perspective, why did Senator Flake decide not to run? He must have had internal numbers that weren't favorable. I for one, would have supported him in a primary for the exact reasons we wound up with Simema.

You seem to be blaming me, and others who feel as I do for his not running an admittedly tough primary?

Sorry 530, that's just crazy talk. AZ is turning blue for the very simple reason of being over run by Californians. Go look at Tuscon and Prescott (among others) , they are both now a majority of transplants. I swear half of Prescott is from San Diego.....

And remember, right before Flake left, he presented the Senate with a 'Carbon Tax' bill. True conservative.

Yet another reason i hope Trump is successful. These are the people that rallied against Trump for 'not being conservative'.... Just like racism, bigotry, sexism, etc, their actions, and continual false cries, have rendered the terms meaningless.
