Everyone keeps saying "we need it".... but I'm just about sick of it. Build a dam, and bring on the drought. Lol

My Skidsteer is in same spot since I pulled it out of the mud on New year's eve. 2 day job turned into it sitting for 2 weeks waiting for it to dry so I can finish and pour Concrete. As a boat owner can't complain.

I did get 2 calls today for leaking decks. Roofers must be stoked.

I have to work in it and I don't mind it all. Except when my rain gear rips.

Natures way of raising the levels of the lakes and rivers we boat on. For you with lawn sprinklers, your water bill will be lower if you've remembered to set your sprinkler timers to "off" or to "rain" setting.

It came through here last night/this morning and we have a lot of trees down and flooding around the central coast. It was crazy at some points this morning.

About an hour ago I was on the 605 north at the 210. It was coming down HARD. Couldn't see more than a few hundred feet in front of me.

It amazes that me we could ever have drought conditions in SoCal when you see an 6' deep X 300' wide wall of water flowing down the Santa Ana River dumping out into the ocean. I'm sure the L.A. River and others are the same today. SMH

Had the pleasure of joining the commuters this morning towing 30' and 10k lbs of Bling trailer to Long Beach and back before the LA show opened today. That was a treat...

Small world, besides having a rail spur site that would fit 4 cars we used to get 2-3 loads a week delivered to us from PE back in the 90's.

Complaining about the weather is all relative. I would be happy to trade you. We went four weeks not getting above 10 degrees. Today was rare, we made it to 37 degrees. I still have 1" of ice on the drive way, but it felt like spring.

Bring on the rain!! I'm making some mulled wine as we speak and heating up the spa (putting the sun shade up though for the rain lol). I've also recently smoked and cured some sausages and this weather fits it perfect

.

I hope California will see an end to the drought. Here in Texas we had a helluva bad drought for years, and it started raining in early 2015. The drought was over in eight weeks.

There were dozens of lakes that were less than 30% full in January 2015, and it started raining. The lake closest to us was at 19%, and in six weeks it was going over the spillway. Lake Travis, close to Austin, was 70 feet below the conservation pool level. It took almost a year, but it returned to pool level and right now it's about two feet above that. Texoma was about forty feet below pool, and by May the lake level was actually four feet over the spillway elevation.

There was that much water going over the spillway!

Love the rain. The days have been so nice and I've been sleeping like a baby ... with the exception of the few times work has called.

Summer can take its sweet time getting here. I'm enjoying this too much.

Where you at , sounds like me here in Washington, its been brutal for the last month, but this system has brought in some warmer air finally.

I cant wait for the rain to go away. It always makes a mess. When I was in the field I was always looking over my shoulder when pumping water off site, scraping mud off the street from the subs, and would get the phone call "there's a water leak in the building".

Pansies. I'm born and for the most part raised in the Seattle area, grey skies and rain for 3 months in a row aint shit, as long as it's above 40F and rain. 34 - 40 and rain sucks ass, especially if you work out doors.

I'm over it too.

Last year I spent about a month digging trenches so no runoff would flood my horse stalls. Of course, nada.

This year I didn't trench anything.

Yeah, fubar.

I enjoy the rain as much as the other guy...except for the part about having a small, trenchless ranch at the base of the foothills.

Please go away :grumble:
Not looking forward to Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. :eek
