looking for some info on what i’m told is a Mercruiser Racing Ignition installed on my 540bbc, Bravo drive. Coil and module are contained in this 4” +/- sq. box, mounted to the rear of the block. Haven’t seen anything like it and can’t find any info.
Runs awesome, I’m trying to replace the old ‘75 Mercury 2 pole tach installed and it looks as if the grey trigger signal I’m getting has no voltage across it and provided no pulse when tested with a 12v test lite. Current tach trigger is connected 12v (-).
Started pulling the allens to remove the cover but thought I’d look for some info.
