Its time to replace my Toyo AT 275/70/18. Have always had great luck with Toyo’s. But the premium price on the Toyo brand is up there pretty high.

So I’m looking at a bit cheaper brands this time around.
Anyone have experience with Cooper Discover AT or Falken Wildpeak AT?
They will be going on 1/2 ton Ram.

If anyone is interested Toyos will be for sale probably 15,000-20,000 miles left.

Cooper AT3's are good tires. USA made also. The Falken's are good also just don't like that they come from Thailand.

Check out the new General Grabber ATX. The AT2 basically with added features.

Anybody else? I plan on stoping by America’s tire in the way home to see them in person before pulling the trigger.

The toyos are worth the squeeze.
I got 80k miles out of a set of 33” AT2’s on an f150 and 70k on a set of 35” AT2’s on a 2500hd, would of got more had I rotated enough. I have tried a few of the cheaper ones and it’s not worth it. Also tried the BFG at’s and those suck.

Ive got over 70K on my wild peak AT3's, they are on a 2015 f150.
They still look new and can easily get another 50 or 60K out of them!

I run Cooper Discoverers on my F-350 and Expedition, very happy with both. Made in the USA, and a good price.

I ordered Falken Wildpeak AT’s.

Should be in today.

4-275/70/18 installed with certificates $880

Toyos would have been $1200.
Toyos are good but I guess we will see if they are worth $300 more.

The Falken's seem to be good. My only dislike is seeing the made in Thailand on the sidewall.

On a 1/2 ton with rotation every oil change you should see 50-55k miles.

I will never put 55k miles on the tires.

It has taken me 5yrs to put 40-45k on my Toyos. I’m merely changing them because I don’t want to be the guy on the side of the road with a blow out due to age.

Also come March this truck will become semi retired. Towing duty only.

Here are the new tires. So far I really like how they look. And they truck seems to ride better. Tire noise at 60mph is non existent.
Sorry for the crappy pics.

If you're looking for brand new tires, I'd recommend Toyo too. Got mine on sale with free shipping on 4wheelonline.
