This particular video is fake, but who knows. Hollywood will find a way to fuck it up though, unless Tom Cruise keeps his hands on it until he's happy with the final product like he did on this last one.

It's 100% coming.
They (everyone involved) can't walk away from the literal boat load of money to be made.
Hope it's as good as the first 2.

I hope we are wrong but I agree with you, they should stop at 2
Yeah, they should pull a Barry Sanders on the series.
If it's coming this quick after #2, I would guess it's more about getting it smashed out fast while the hype from #2 is still fresh.....that often translates to a flop.

My understanding they haven’t shot the single frame yet… But it’s in the works

How can there be a Top Gun 3 if Maverick died in TG2? His test plane exploded - everything that happened afterwards is going on in his mind as he is waiting in purgatory, judging by the happy ending, he went to Heaven. So none of the events in TG2 actually happened other than in his mind except flying the test plane past mach 10.

That’s what happens when you go past Ludicrous Speed.

The inability of Hollywood to make any films other than sequels and CGI comic book fantasies is the reason I haven't seen a new release since Saving Private Ryan in 1998.

You’ve missed some good movies over the last quarter of a century.

My old man failing memory forgot some movies. I did see Jersey Boys in a theater, because the story of Frankie Valli and the band's rise to success is a good story. The scene with the boys loading a safe into the trunk of a Studebaker Commander is a classic. I also viewed Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman on TV.

Since Queen and Elton John are two of my favorite musicians, I took a chance the movies would be good, and they were. And I'll add a trivia bit that's pretty cool. In the early 70s Brian May was in his third year of university studying physics when Queen began to gain fame.

He decided to see where the music career would go, and dropped out of school. Around 2005 he returned, and finished the PhD thesis he had started in 1974. Brian successfully defended the thesis before the review body, and received a doctorate in astrophysics in 2007. He is now known as Sir Brian May, PhD. He's not the only band member that received honors from the Crown. Drummer Roger Taylor was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2005.

I also watched The Revenant on TV, and thought it was awful.

Dude. Tom Hardy rocks.

I Really liked him in Peeky Blinders. He plays an Awesome bad guy.

The Revenant is all about the characters in the story and their Will to survive at all costs.

Incredible cinematography. Great acting. Based on a true story. No CGI.

If you were expecting an action movie, I can understand why you were disappointed. A lot of people didn't like it. You're not alone.
