Topock Today

Wife and I decided to RZR to Topock today and scout a bit more of our Oatman trip.

Left Havasu taking our normal route north toward the dump and decided we would go west side this time. So near the dump we headed west crossed the 95 and then headed north and hugged the refuge boundary then cutting over to Needle Mountain, Hole in the Rock, grave sites, old
railroad tracks and more.

Had lunch at Route 66, then up to Golden Shore for fuel.

The we ventured across Polaris Road to our proposed turn for Oatman.

On the way back we pretty much took old 95 until Star Wars Mountain, then crossed
95 and took the east power line to the house.

Great Day and another 126 miles.

The land where Topock 66 is was originally in California, a huge flood way back changed the course of the river as well as the state line making it in Arizona from that point on.
