Torque number-V drive

Torque spec for the prop nut on a v-drive 24 Cambell? Gotta take my my friend's prop off for repair and need torque spec for reinstall.

Just be firm with the nut.
All the force is against the taper on the shaft not the nut,except of course when you put it in reverse and the key wont let it spin against the nut.Its not a drag boat.
My .02 for what it is worth.

I just tighten real hard...

Tight,,,or just before the shaft snaps....100 lbs will do.
