I'm basically going through a divorce. I get the Denon AVR1913 and the velodyne sub.

I'm looking for a decent set of tower speakers. Don't need the whole surround just yet as I listen to music, games, etc.

Anyone have any recommendations? Kiplisch sp? Any good?

What is your budget and what 'level' of speaker are you looking for? A chevy, or a ferrari?

We just got some of these in to demo and I really like them. http://www.episodespeakers.com/product/55/Episode-700-Series-Tower-Speaker-with-Dual-6.5-in-Woofers

Here is a 3rd party review: http://www.episodespeakers.com/images/merch/customer-lit/ES-700-TWR-6-BLK-review.pdf

MSRP is $750 ea but shoot me a PM and I can usually do a lot better.

Looking for around $500 for a pair if possible. I'm looking for something that has decent highs and mids, the velodyne covers just about everything low.

We did a double-blind speaker evaluation with the Infinity Primus 363 in a quasi-anechoic room, and some more-expensive mid-priced competitive speakers from Klipsch, Martin-Logan, Polk and a few others. I wish I could recall the models that were evaluated...
The 363 came out on top of nearly everyone's scorecard...and was top 3 on everyones. Pretty impressive.

Just know that every speaker will sound different once placed in a room.

I have a complete set of Polk Audio's that I bought when I needed a bachelor setup for my house. They are the little guys, but between them and the sub, I never needed to be any louder then it was.. LOL

Not sure how I would get them to you though, as each one has to weigh 15-20 lbs? (even though they are the small guys). I don't even use them. They are all sitting in cabinets down in Parker last I checked.
