So if I understand that right - you will be bidding on 60 trailers as a block?

If anyone ends up with one and needs a little time to pick up I am not far away from the auction place. I can hold it for a while and loan it out like RD.

I see only one rim/tire on the port side on at least three of those trailers. Wonder if they store them that way??

I think some sold for about 3K recently on CL. Buyers premium is 18%, plus tax. And they will need some modification.

Those are not "car" trailers. Doesn't mean they couldn't be used for that though.

T&T auctions is doing the Clark county auction in a week or 3. Seen some slightly damaged flatbed trailers and lots of diesel 3/4 ton trucks with under 100k miles

They are all over craigslist for 2500 already. I asked about them when I was at Carson trailer. They are narrow compared to a car trailer. You can buy a new 16' car hauler from Carson with ramps for $2160 plus tax. If you can get them for $1000 a piece its worth it.

...Looks like those trailers came from DC solar who got shut down for being a Ponzi scheme ..the trailers when completed with solar panels...inverters etc...were intended to be parked around various cities as solar powered charging stations...Pretty bizarre and interesting story...
...2 to 3k...seems a bit pricy???...

I agree, $1,000 per was my top dollar.... Not worth it to me for any more than that.... I'm out

Haha, I was going to say $500 each if I had to provide (4) wheels/tires for every trailer to move them out of their yard. $3K No Thanks!!!

I will probably swing in also ..I'm more curious in the complete trailers for mobile power? agree trailers are not worth much

the market must be flooded by now with these, they have been liquidating for months..

FYI all of the bare trailers pretty much went for $1500 each. The rest of the stuff (solar deals 8k, solar with gens 15k, add light towers 18k) went for ridiculous prices. Pretty disappointed, thought I was going to get some cheap power for my Havasu desert compound.

Sorry I didn’t post these a couple days ago I’ve really been swamped with work but I went by and looked at them most had tires the ones that were stacked in lots of two or basically one parts trailer and one complete trailer. The first day of bidding someone bid them to $1000 apiece if you figure the tires are probably rotten anyway over the last five years.

everyone needed a little bit of work plus the fact you had to tie down the three trailers on top to the bottom.

Then tow out of there it got to the point where it wasn’t worth my time. For someone that needed a couple of heavy duty trailers for equipment just add a couple of ramps maybe so but not me.

Wow, brakes on only one axle.... I couldn't even sell them here in Illinois without adding brakes to the other axle....

Its nuts what stuff is selling for at auctions. Company I used to work for bought a 2005 F750 water truck for $28k. Has an unusable rotted tank, PTO, and a melted wiring harness. I'm tossing the idea of going through businesses graveyards and buying whole equipment cheap then power wash and send to auction.

By the time you weld on ramps and storage easier to buy new. i picked up my trailer yesterday from Carson. Took 3 weeks to make. They also now require a fender marker light. A 16' hd with ramps and storage is $3072. I added a few options.

Is a stack of trailers for $4,000 ($1,000 a trailer) or $1,000 for the stack of trailers ($250 a trailer)

What are your tie-down options for this trailer ? As an example, do they make an attached that goes in the stake pockets ? I do like the winch mount, even if you use a hand crank boat style with a long strap. What's the OA length and width of that trailer ?

There was some round cast-iron loops on the side but there isn’t much for tiedowns you would have to weld some loops on that trailer but there’s a lot of thick metal. Not sure the width and I think there’s a jack up front but it’s a flat Stand I’m not sure how good it is just plan on getting one and these are heavy trailers.

Tie down points are the stake pockets. You could add something to them to attach to but I loop the chains through them or hook the tie down hook on them. I ordered it 14' long deck plus tongue. I was able to use a dolly under the Jack and move it around my yard by hand easily as only 2 wheels touch with front on dolly. It is 83" wide between the wheel wells. Had the same in wood deck and 18' and it hauled the F350 crew cab no problem. But was a bitch to move had to use power caster.

I recall doing that with chain tie-downs, but was more thinking the ratchet straps I use for the SxS --- Thanks 👍

It's mainly for my Cat skidsteer. The 18' used to put 2 2 seater rzrs on it. Looking to buy a 4 seater or 6 seater ranger crew that it will haul occasionally.
