Ground is good, dog chewed through the 7 pin and we recently had it replaced. Guessing it's something related to that.
Had that same issue on my toyhauler while in Glamis. I now carry a spare.
So do I, 2 of them. Thought my batteries were bad and very close to buying new ones, as my remote fan would turn on very slow by itself. Was very weird, even bough a new circuit board for it and replaced it... Just to find out that a $3 part F'd the whole thing.
Might save a couple of bucks checking this out. So easy and more common than you think.
Have you seen U-hauls wiring jobs??? No thank you. the tweeker on the corner could probably do better.
We tried it on RV and truck to rule out vehicle issues first.
What was the issue
Loose nut behind the wheel.
The previous shop that repaired the damage from the dog chewing the wiring tried to salvage too much of the original harness, despite it being chewed to hell.
It was my parents' doodle, a pure golden like mine would never chew anything
