Tree houses

My mom just sent me a link to a tree house “home” in whitefish Montana.

It got me thinking. Do kids still build tree houses? Anyone have photos of theirs?

I fully plan on building something ridiculous with my future kids [emoji2]

I don’t know if a Kid built it, but there’s a pretty serious looking treehouse on South Palo Verde little ways west of Acoma in Lake Havasu. On the right hand side as you’re headed towards the lake.

Lol my wife and I were literally just talking about building one. The neighbors have a pretty cool one we always drive by.

I started one when I bought my house in December. I got as far as the floor and other projects took over . If the damn lumber prices would chill out I'd get back at it .. we'll see..

You Don't need a tree, just use your imagination.
I built a rather extravagant play-set. It all started out as a scructure my neighbors kiddos outgrew and he offered it to me. I added many levels and extensions.
My Daughter is too old and cool for that now so I'm passing it down. I hope I find some Family to enjoy it with their kiddos and keep adding.
My most favorite memories were when the yard was full of Laughing screaming kids just being kids.

In Redlands there is an older home with a super cool tree house in the front yard. It has electricity & they decorate for Christmas. I drive by on occasion, one time I saw people up in it. Will try to take a pic next time.

My daughter is bugging me for one also but not trees. Was thinking about a 6x8 or so glue lam in the ground with concrete.

This was in my home town. I had visited it twice before it burnt to the ground in 2019. A little over 10,000 square feet.
