Feels pretty good sharing these pics from today....finally feeling it all come together. A 23' catamaran with a modern design that you sit in not on, with a cockpit that surrounds you with a full wrap around windshield that you look through, not over. We still have quite a bit of work to do but this is the first day we've been able to pull it all together and see what it's like to look over the dash. Seeing the lines and curves of this girl will make you smile....it's a good day at Trick Powerboats and we're proud to share it.

What power options?
Website says….

We'll offer the boat with a single 300R, 400R or 500R as well as twin 300R's. We're projecting a top end speed between 104-108 with a single 300R. We'll have plenty of video's of this boats build along with footage of the water tests when it's complete. Current pricing for the base model with a 300R , fully rigged with 9 inch Garmin and Vessel View, Fusion stereo, LED nav lights, 3/8" windshield, twin aluminum fuel tanks, Stainless hardware, EVA flooring, hydraulic steering, hydraulic jack plate and Wesco double axle Aluminum trailer turn key ready to go will be $127,242

Thank you keeping a flat transom and not falling victim to the extended bustle made somewhat popular by other large cat builders. I love the clean lines and they will help these boats maintain a timeless look. Beautiful job and thank you for sharing! 👍

Going to be such a cool boat/concept. When I saw this it reminded me of the 22 Barracuda on Facebook but with much better power options.

Is this bottom similar to the 21 trick of the mid 2000s?

Pretty damn cool. Watching the video and seeing how much you sit "in" the hull I would be a little concerned about the blind spot caused by the wings aft of the windshield. I'm kind of a head on a swivel guy so clear sight lines are important to me.

At 8' 6" is this a wide load on a conventional trailer? I can't recall what the limits are.

102” is the legal width, at 22’ long and 8’6”(102”) this thing should be a real looker on the water.

I don't think you can really compare the two. The 23 Widebody has an elevated center pod and the tunnel width is 55" wide. The 21' Trick was a full tunnel that was only about 38" wide. You can see that the center pod height is is elevated above the first chine in the sponsons. We'll offer it without a center pod as well if someone wants a full tunnel.

Wasn’t the 21 a Skater splash?

Wonder if they would just sell the hull?

Go to their IG and find more pics of the boat. I would recommend changes to the cockpit liner. tool some side console & move the sticks to the side (both LH & RH) versus a center pedestal and tool the front foot rest for foot throttle provision, also on both sides (based on customers request), tool the center panel for floor storage with hinged lid for the center pod hull only. Twin engine, center pod or true tunnel, foot throtitle with both hands on steering…now that would be 🔥

One other dream change would be to make the instrument panel part of the deck mold

Hull #1 turned out nice

The way it’s running in that video it may as well be a true tunnel. The pod’s not displacing anything.

Really looking forward to seeing more of these come out. Adding some graphics and upgrading the interior will make these pop. I might need to put my name down next year...

That is how a good center pod boat is supposed to run. It looks like the motor could come up a little and help relieve the drag from the water melon to release the stern a bit.

Completely agree. Hope they try another few dozen props. DeWald has always been amazing for many folks

Dave is the man. He has stumbled onto something brand with a blade profile change. We have run everything under the sun on the LCBs which is 20' cat with a 54" tunnel and has a very shallow center pod. His new design just picked up 5 above the best ever seen for one of them running a 300R. Mine should be here next week.

We continue to dial it in. She ran 100MPH today running a 5 Blade 14 3/4 x 31 Cleaver from Mercury Racing at 6350RPM. Looking forward to seeing a few more out of this one. We're currently building a twin 300R model that should be pretty nasty.

Lee,

To have that hull run 100 with a 300R is a total home run. Hats off to you guys for chasing this project thru to success.
