Remember my uncle starting his BSA in the early 60's and that fuker kicked back on him so bad and sliced his right calf open. I was about 5 or 6 and thought Holly shit that was bad. Took a bunch of stitches and he was back on it the next day. He had steel balls for sure. Still rides to this day.

I still have my 500 triumph single.
people used to always look at it and say they would like to ride it. I'd say go ahead if you can start it you can ride it. They would almost always back down.
Funny thing is it's a one kick bike. 😉

Owned and early 70's BSA 650 Lightning --- Oh yeah baby, you best follow through to vertical and don't relax until it's completely stopped rotating :eek: In fact I bought it --- or more like stole it, because it had injured the owner and he was over it --- make it go away.

Trent has an offroad one with oth high pipes that I guess is super rare. Every time he rides it a lot of guys come out to talk about it
