This year has been a rollercoaster so far and it seems I missed out on the deals that were around back in April/May. That being said, do you guys think the market will crash or return to normal in the next 2-6 months?

Best deals on dodge 2500’s are long gone. I do think they may be back though

Been looking at 2015/2016 f250’s and back when COVID hit you could get a lariat with 50k miles for 35-38 and now they are 45-50. Even couple year old trucks are now going for what they likely sold for when new.

That's the only reason mine is for sale.

Crash in 2-6 months no. Back to normal, maybe. It could crash if Biden gets in and starts getting rid of the Trump tax cuts. If Trumps again, i think you will see people spend due to jobs causing prices to stay higher.

But your not going to get an 80k truck for 50k

That’s really what I meant by crash is a return to normal.

new will have inventory issues due to plants being closed - model year 2020 hard to locate

used will stay inflated no matter who wins. Even if sleepy joe wins, if the senate stays Republican, nothing will change. Can’t see Joe changing the tax law without the senate voting on it and if that stays as is, nothing gets done for 4 years.

Trucks are kind of an anomaly but wholesale used car prices finally started to come down. When or if that makes it to retail prices is anyone's guess.

38' fifth wheel. Not a toy hauler. Montana. No idea how far or when. But not a full time tow truck. For $9000 less the gasser will be fine.
