2002 2500HD 4x4 6.0 gas, just went over 170k. I had all the leaks and messed up things fixed last year before moving to Texas. Yes, all the lights on the mirrors are wired in, I finished that about 2 weeks ago.

Im pretty fond of my old diesels. Easy to wk on. 2000 Cummins since new and 2000 7.3 Exc since 04. Both barely over 100k. Had a take hm work truck for the last 12 yrs of my work life so mileage is low. Now i mostly drive an old 2000 Tacoma that is loaded up with goodies too.

I added an aftermarket wireless backup camera for about $100. I hate lane departure systems. I don't want my vehicle fighting me for what part of the lane I want to be in.
Link for camera?

08 duramax lmm, 02 excursion 7.3 and 92 yj. All I can still take care of somewhat easily in driveway. Before the jeep came 2 years ago I had a 88 crx for 9 years, that thing was still getting 40mog on highway and 33 in town, 29 with ac on.

I finally had to retire this old warhorse. 01 Navigator on 35’s. This truck had 100,000 miles offroad alone. And at over 330,000 miles on the clock, she was ready for retirement. But damn, what a great rig. Original engine, trans , diffs.... everything except a waterpump and a couple of alternators. Ended up donating it to make a wish.

My best man still has his “9’er”. From back when they made them: Yukon XL with 3x3 seating (hence the 9’er), BIG block, with cattle guard front bumper. Bastard isn’t too much on the fuel efficiency, but get’s everyone to the destination pulling a load. That beast is America, lol

Update and up grade the old stuff. Did a frame off on this close to 25 years ago. Did the Cummins swap about 12 years ago. Turn key reliable and no smog and still gets 17-18 mpg at 75-80 mph.

So you barely drive it? Lol
I got 295k on my 16.
Just picked up a 2022. Id love an older truck, but most can’t hang w 50k miles a year
I bought it in 17 if that helps lol. I do 33-35k a year. October is 5 years of ownership 😁

Edit. I’m looking for a new one but honestly can’t find anything.

This time I want CC long bed with a really nice interior. Honestly looking at the Texas mega cab/long bed conversions.
