1-1/2 day boat out of San Diego about a month ago.

Picked this up this afternoon, 7 day boat to Guadalupe, YF, YT, about 375lbs. Forgot to take pics of the 2 full racks.

Yellowtail is actually a jack fish. Yellow fin is a tuna.

Your yellowtail must be related to our Amberjack in FL. We call them reef donkeys.
Fight like hell. Marginal table fare, but very good smoked.
