In-Law and his crew just got back this morning. 90% of the fish were caught in the last 6 hours of the trip. 30 were just over 100lbs. and he caught one 184.

I'm seeing tons of boats at night off Coronado Island off Rosarito this week. Blue Fin must be running! Great pull you guys got there... where? Or is it a Shhhhhhhhhhh

I believe he said about 70 miles out of San Diego, but they had to hunt for them, he only goes on 3 day trips. Like I posted, 90% were caught in the last 6 hours before heading back.

Youngest son went out yesterday with the CC. Out to Avalon then trolled south to the 277. Only landed one #60 yellowfin and lost two bigger bluefin at the boat. Plenty of boils and bird activity but they couldn't convince the fish to hit the spreaders. Flat seas and a modest amount of fog heading out.
