Just picked this up from AllStar, and onto Phils. If your going out of San Diego, get to the Tuna Pin, 25 miles out, they’re killin’ it. He’s going again tomorrow! 🤙

In-law just got back, 30-90, no cows, but 1 caught that was 180. He caught 14 and gave 10 away and kept 4.

allowed two per day,but on 3+ day trips, how much is too much??Especially if they are the 100+lb models!Do the math on the processing costs at $1.65LB whole wieght (net "bagged"is only around 35%)GETS INSANE$$$$$$.I get that you always keep fishing to the boat gets full limits which can include crew.home freezers can get full FAST...

He hands off to guys that didn't catch their limit and to the crew. Cost of processing doesn't bother him. He goes to East Coast Canada to fish for 1,000 lbers. on fish you aren't allowed to keep. Now that's ridiculous.

conservation is the key word here..very cool that he hands off fish:)this biomass Bluefin local to SD is insane, but who knows when it could turn off forever? My fee, last month just for cutting/bagging gross weight of 430lbs was $730.00.Only netted 165lbs (bagged)still a shit ton of fish that i share with family and friends

I caught a Tuna in Cabo, the deck hand prepared some sashimi in real time right after. It was the best sashimi I’ve ever had.

That sounds awesome. Would love to experience that someday.

But on the other hand...

I can buy a LOT of tuna at SushiNi, for what it would cost to do a trip like that!

Maybe someday. 👍🏼😊

I get more than I can eat. The Games family stocks me up. Uncle Bruce loves to fish, but doesn’t eat fish. Lol.
I'm not bashful. Let me know if you have some extra taking up room in the freezer. Do you shoot? Trade most any caliber reloads.

No problem. I have some in the freezer now. I think I’m getting some more next week. 🤷🏼‍♂️
