Who'da thunk you could get attached to a turtle??

My neighbor had 3 huge Salcuttas that would come to our wrought iron fence that separated our yards when they heard me working in my yard. I could feed them by hand and they would fight for my attention..... I swear they had personalities.

That's just awful. My girlfriend back in Sierra Madre had one, although smaller. It would get out once in a while. They found it down the block a few times. It was gone for a month or two and they found it in someone's yard. They had drilled a hole in its shell and ran a chain through it.

After some angry words with the neighbors they brought it back home.

My YL Neoghbor had a 180 lb one that escaped often.
I got tired of dragging that thing back home ,lol

It left one day and never came back
