U joint grease?

What grease is recommended to grease the u joint and gimbal bearing on a bravo 1

Apparently the Quicksilver stuff i ordered is discontinuedo_O

I was told once it's the same as Yamaha multi lube Marine Grease.
That's what I use,, no issues.
Look deeper into it,, I just took the dealers service advisers word for it.

The new ones are sealed units, both the Gimbal bearing and U-joints. Before installing the joints I put a little Moly anti-galling compund in each of the caps. As for the sealed Gimbal bearing I made sure that I got the SKF unit rather than the china made junk.

Before I made the switch (they were worn out after 10 years and hundreds of hours), I always used a good quality wheel bearing grease. Be sure that it is wheel bearing grease, not chassis grease. I've never been impressed with all of these specialty lubricants offered by the OEM's at exhorbitant prices.

Like a dumbass I search online every where and it was like a 2 week lead time. All it took was a call sun country in Ontario a few miles away and they had the Merc stuff in stock.
