I am assuming it’s remove the old lights and plug in the new ones correct? Are there different plugs for different lights and trailers?

I have 5 little red lights (2 running, 3 running and brake)
2 running yellow lights
2 big oval brake, turn, running lights

I replaced all my incandescent housings with clear lens led housings on my trailer, didn’t even have to change any of the rubber gaskets was simple plug and play for me. And on a white trailer the clear lenses look sba imho

I got them on eBay just spent last 10 minutes trying to find these ones again and cannot. They aren’t the brightest but definitely look clean and think was like 40$ for 7 red and 4 amber

I have been looking for those all over the place and can never find the right ones. Extreme has them I believe for 15 bucks a light  I already have those lights on my trailer but some are burnt out or faded. If you find a link post it up

Online at bigrigchromeshope.com has almost every kind of light you think of. Where I bought some of my stuff. I just googled up big rig or truck chrome shops and you will find a ton of them. Most of the places where I live are down near the ship channel, where the big rig trucks hang out. I drove over to several of them and found what I wanted in the various lights. They will have a ton of them hanging on the walls in every brand, shape and size out there. Most of them have display boards by light brand, with working lights on them so you can see what they will look like.

Extreme used the small rectangular clearance/marker and 6" oval lights on their trailers. Pretty simple to find. Hard part, with so many choices out there, is to find something that you really like. Personally, I like them to as bright as I can get with lots of lights in them. Others don't. Just personal choice.

You might also think about running a new wiring harness while you are at it. Extreme used non sealed scotch locks on their trailers (mine is a 2000) back then. No protection for your light connections at all. Every single light connection was done this way. Also found some chafing in my wiring harness that had worn thru to bare wire when I pulled the old harness out. However, the harness was 20 years old when replaced. New harness is now in and all connections are sealed with waterproof butt connectors.
