Was on a Chicago business trip this weekend and the wife wanted to go see the USC game at Notre Dame, was way cool to be able to watch the game there. Definitely football bucket list. Was a close one!

Very cool - my dad and I want to go and see this game. I have not been to a game @ ND.

Our seats were 4th row up in the end zone. Found them on stub hub for cheap the night before.

Where is the picture of the ticket stub from 1948 hanging at. When I moved my father into a home I found a ticket stub from the same game in a envelope in his dresser. They tied 14-14. Its in my desk at my office. I will check tomorrow.

Here is the ticket stub when my father went to the SC/ND game back in 1948. Matches the painting of the ticket stub that was posted in the first post. Except for the seat numbers. :)

That is awesome. I would try and have it blown up just like the one at ND for a garage poster. I save stubs every now and then but I would never expect my kids to find them and even less remember them.

Thanks. I will look into the garage poster. Here is another stub from when he went to the Olympic trials in 1952.

I think I heard ND is going to play in Ireland next year - that would be fun to see how the Irish (the real Irish) respond to them.
