not non sense at all. 1600 miles on mine, zero issues. Belt lasted 1200 miles and changed it do being safe. $175 and 15 minutes. Never a issue in deep whoops, seriously does great. You need to ride in a few others.

X2. I’ve put similar miles on mine. Replaced it after a year just for experience and to be safe. Was thinking like an impeller. Bought a new belt last week. I’ll throw it on this weekend.
