So who ended up racing, watching/checking it out? I raced Rally Class, such an AWESOME event. The course was pretty brutal, tons of flat tires and broken cars.. me being one of them. We broke the lower radius rod on the passenger side 8 miles in on Lap 4... sitting in 4th when it happened, DOOOOHH !! By the time we got a replacement sent out and got it on the car, time was up and we got a DNF. Sucks but thats racing I guess. Maybe next time we will remember to put the spare ON THE CAR!!!! It was really cool seeing all the spectators set up all over the course watching. Looks like the City and Chief of Police liked it as well, already released next years dates, October 13th/17th, 2021.... and they said it will be held annually for the foreseeable future!!! Heres a few pics Harlen Foley from Dirt Nation Mag took for us.

I watched it. The viewing was really nice near the finish line. I was impressed with the amount of people out there. It was a lot of fun, and I met a lot of cool people. I also saw some really entertaining feats of stupidity. People must have been in rental cars, because the abuse they took going down some of the trails out there was impressive.

Yep, I already blocked my calendar for the week next year. We had a ton of fun, I’ll be doing the poker run again for sure.

@DLC it ended up being the Oring in Jason’s fuel pump that took a crap. We took it to Anything Off-road and they fixed it up that weekend.

I watched it... good to hear they are locked in for next year. The rally class seems like a cool deal...Something I would consider doing.

It’s the blue water challenge out here in Parker, Utv’s, trophy trucks, bikes , quads . We are doing 3 to 4 laps os 22 ish miles. Me and my daughter raced worlds also. I ended up taking 4th in pro turbo and my daughter had a couple issues and ended up in 14th. She qualified 2nd but had a couple flats and a bent lower radius rod. Come out to Parker and watch the fun Saturday and Sunday . Look on best in the desert for the weekend schedule, you can watch right off Shea road

Had a good day 1 so hoping to Cary the momentum onto day 2. Ended up in 2nd by 5 seconds. There’s some awesome action to watch out here.

NICE WORK!!!! Sorry to hear about your daughters issues, that course was EATING tires. We made it three laps and 8 miles without a tire issue, but snapped lower radius rod like a pretzel. Went back and watched some in car GoPro footage and I think I see what I hit. A big rock in a G-out followed by a hard left turn, right after that the car gets squirrelly and the rest is history.... Was a fun race, wish I could have finished.

Dustin Woolery entered a pretty much stock RZR Turbo and went from 44th to 6th place!! Pretty big accomplishment for a first time racer in a pretty bone stock car!

We were camped a couple miles north and watched for a few hours on Saturday.

That terrain was the equalizer for sure. And a little luck.

Yes it was. We preran on Saturday the weekend before the race. It was crazy to see how the course changed in that week. There was some small washes that during prerunning we thought were going to be a mess and get piled up with cars... those areas were faster on race day than the weekend before. I think somebody took a cordless hammer drill out there and chipped some areas out, hahahaha.

Off roading out there for fun so often and running the poker run areas that shared parts of the course I found that interesting too. Some parts that I thought would be hammered, from practice and pre run were smoother than I would have expected... And yea other parts were destroyed.

Where we were sitting it was interesting watching that section change over the course of a few hours.. Originally it was fast coming into that corner. Than the trail changed a little and you could see a small rock. That small rock kept getting bigger and bigger... LOL. Than it would get knocked out, and you'd see another one start to develop.
