Sisolak orders statewide shutdown of casinos, other nonessential businesses
In an unprecedented act, Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered casinos and all other non-essential businesses in Nevada to close for 30 days to help slow the spread of the coronavirus ...lasvegassun.com
Did that yesterday. My only panic purchase.Everyone- go get a haircut before you end up looking like Shaggy!
I wonder if my tile guy will show up.My business is related to the construction industry.
I don’t believe this will have a serious impact. All suppliers can remain open they fall under the category of hardware stores and construction is not a brick and mortar. it’s in the the field, and as such more so keeping the distance from others. It’s a matter of using common sense in being practical to get through this but 30 days is ridiculous.
I have a feeling that’s going to change in the next couple of weeks.
Funny you said that, NDOT, City of LV, County of LV, Henderson, North LV are all talking about doing major street repair due to the light traffic, we were driving in Henderson yesterday by Eastern and St. Rose one of the heaviest traffic locations in all of southern Nevada and there was absolutely no traffic, was sort of eerie but great on travel time savings...Someone should tell the city that RIGHT NOW is the time to repave the entire Las Vegas Blvd. you can shut down all lanes in both directions and negatively impact like 12 drivers per day.
