Someone should tell the city that RIGHT NOW is the time to repave the entire Las Vegas Blvd. you can shut down all lanes in both directions and negatively impact like 12 drivers per day.

My business is related to the construction industry.

I don’t believe this will have a serious impact. All suppliers can remain open they fall under the category of hardware stores and construction is not a brick and mortar. it’s in the the field, and as such more so keeping the distance from others. It’s a matter of using common sense in being practical to get through this but 30 days is ridiculous.

I have a feeling that’s going to change in the next couple of weeks.

Nevada as a whole is closed. Sucks all around, several good friends have to close their businesses. I feel lucky that my wife works for a hospital and they are being required to work from home. We are going gangbusters here at work trying to get our equipment into the labs that need it for testing this shit.

ALL of the folks in my complex are open today, various industries.

Everyone in the the industrial laundry is open if they deal in Uniforms , so that means so are we. Staring a new project in Newark CA on Monday. But the phones have slowed down, just dealing with parts orders mostly.

If you are in F&B (food and beverage) that cleans linens, tables cloths, napkins etc. Not so good and most are shutting down for now.

Funny you said that, NDOT, City of LV, County of LV, Henderson, North LV are all talking about doing major street repair due to the light traffic, we were driving in Henderson yesterday by Eastern and St. Rose one of the heaviest traffic locations in all of southern Nevada and there was absolutely no traffic, was sort of eerie but great on travel time savings...

Currently working in the NW on an NDOT project, the plans are to keep moving forward until further notice. We have caught the contractor and that's the only reason I have been slow. Morning rush hour didn't seem that much slower that I noticed. I did notice there was a ton of police on the road however. NHP, School District Police were pulling people over on the highway as well, and of course metro was all over the place.

Mayor Goodman of Las Vegas has just launched a press conference and asked the governor to stop this 30 day nonsense that it will destroy the entire economy of the state. She told them it needs to be no more than one or two weeks.
