The pool area was nice and access was monitored by security staff. They are strict with bringing in any outside food/drinks and will check bags when you go inside. Food and drinks are available poolside. The depths of the pool vary from a beach entrance for kids to a depth of about 7'. It was perfect for relaxing. Now if they could just unplug the nonsense broadcast from the other pool area...... 🙄

We spent the afternoon poolside, relaxing and working on our burn. It was toasty!! After a few hours baking in the sun, we headed up to get ready for dinner. My wife and I both enjoy seafood, and we've found the Bonefish Grill to be decent on several fronts.

They are somewhat famous for their "Bang Bang Shrimp" which is a great starter. My wife ended up ordering grilled Mahi Mahi and I ordered some Blackened Fish Tacos with mango salsa. Everything was tasty and the service was what you would expect from a restaurant like this.

The rest of the evening was spent enjoying the sights, sounds and smells Las Vegas has to offer. I'll leave it at that. Let's just say we both absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our evening!! 😎

The next morning was spent relaxing by the pool. The day hadn't spooled up yet as I'm sure most were still hung over from the night before, so there wasn't any loud and annoying crap music resonating between the buildings. We found some lounge chairs poolside and settled in for a few hours of peace and quiet. The scenery wasn't half bad either. 🤓

I initially snapped that picture for a friend of mine, but I figured a few here would enjoy it as well. You're welcome! 🤣

You'd probably like the pool at Trump's place. Very mellow and family oriented. The pool side food is very good. Their cheese burger is a little pricey ($22, maybe not too bad for LV) but it is huge, made with Angus Beef and includes Parmesan fries. Saw an Ahi Tartare that looked very interesting.

I'm cool with loud music and having a good time, but when it's nonstop bass that overpowers EVERYTHING else, it seems pretty dumb to me. Maybe there is a science to it that I don't know about.....

I'd like to try Trump's hotel on our next trip. I'll definitely look into that as an option. 👍

After a relaxing morning by the pool, it was time to check out. Our whirlwind weekend had unfortunately come to an end, and it was time to return to reality. We grabbed our belongings and hit the road! Adios Virgin, it was fun! 🤓

We survived a handful of days in Sin City and were able to experience a lot of what Las Vegas is famous for. We had some wonderful food and enjoyed some beautiful scenery, and I managed to do it all with a woman I love who I also consider to be my best friend. Thank you for another amazing getaway Sweetie! 😘

Southbound at a high rate of speed......did I mention it was flooded in Primm? Some of the water had evaporated or dried up, but there was still a lot of water left on the west side of the freeway.

We made it back to L.A. in 4.5 hours......not too shabby considering there was stop and go traffic from South point all the way into Baker.

One of my former tenants in his family are fabulous people but the most finishing part he’s the executive chef at the Hofbrauhaus.
He’s also German which shouldn’t surprise anyone a great guy and gave us a tour about three years ago of the back room of that place it’s absolutely unimaginable I believe the restaurant seats about 1200 people.

If you haven’t been there one time it’s an absolutely great food and a good place to go to and for a few bucks you can get your ass spanked by some cute girls and video it.

Just a good fun experience.

There’s a few other places like Frankies tiki house which is still around it’s got great drinks a little smoky on the inside but been there about seven years then he got the Golden Steer which is where the rat pack used to go to for steak very fancy inside every has tuxedos little city place off of Sahara just west of Las Vegas Blvd. but a bit overpriced for what it is.

As far as steak and you have a little bit of a budget the ultimate experience in my opinion in the city is the steakhouse at Circa Downtown Fabolous they probably spent at least $1 million just on decorations of the steakhouse and the hostesses are nothing less than about a 9.5 at the front counter.

Still the best value for steak in the entire city is the steakhouse in Southpoint right next to the Italian restaurant usually all the Cowboys are in there cause they have a lot of equestrian events and there’s always a $20 bottle of wine deal that’s pretty decent any time.

China town which is basically Asia town now has a great Thai food Vietnamese food he pretty much name it they’ve level a couple of blocks here and there and some new restaurants are popping up that are very trendy it’s very difficult to get a bad meal on spring mountain.

We came out last night thru the rain.
Staying downtown.

This weather is old Vegas, the way it used to be.
Word is it’s put 3” into Lake Mead. Damfino about that take.

Pic coming - server balked.

I think the EV charger companies woke up and have throttled back the KW because the heat was shutting them down.

150 KW units were maxing at 130KW with a message almost explaining why.
That 12 minute charge was 15.

The chargers are either liquid or air cooled all the way down the cable to the handle connected to the car.

‘Splained the real reason Tesla limits charges to 80% in the extreme heat.
Also why you’ll see people put a wet cloth on the charging handle. It speeds up the charge,,, no kidding.

Is it ever fun approaching slow moving vehicles on the I15. Then when they clear outta the way jumping from 55 to 100 in a mili-second and passing them. Damn EVs are fast.

Server balked uploading pic.

Today it’s Farmtable for breakfast and tonight dinner at the Golden Nugget Steakhouse.

Drinks at the Bass Pro Mermaid bar today while Wifie gets a $1k Brazilian blowout. That, Botox and German Shepard’s are her vices.

I’ll check out how much new ‘Toon you get for $29k.

People don't understand the dangers of dealing with the homeless population. They are not "Normal" and many suffer from a number of issues, whether it's mental, narcotic or a combination of both of those issues. They are completely unpredictable which makes them extremely dangerous.
We carry Bear Spray.
True homeless take a hand up. These LV street addicts will only take a hand out.

Liberals have lumped them together and the addicts act like they are entitled.
Yeah,, I said it.

“For 2 weeks we see more and bigger tips”.

Circa fixed the Sports book video screen roof leak flood really quick.
Floor drains all over the casino for good reasons.

I really enjoy your write-ups, RD should hire you....
Thank you I appreciate it! I enjoy posting little thread on our outings and would love to do this type of thing more often. I only have shallow pockets and a dual axle trailer, so I'm far from baller status. I would drive RD nuts. He already has a small herd at home, he doesn't need another child. 🤣👍

Good stuff!

I've carried an Emerson P-Sark knife daily since 2006. It's no joke and I'm extremely confident with it. Two times I don't carry it. When flying or when going fishing offshore. I'd be devastated if I ever lost it.

Just looked at this on amazon and it says can't ship to CA due to prop65 warning bullshit
You can also buy some over the counter at stores that sell firearms and outdoor equipment. May not be the exact same brand listed above.

Huge wedding party from Germany just sat down around us.
Wife translating.

We bought a round of shots. Mentioning it Translates funny to German. Think about that.

Anyway the Tic Tok shots were sensational.
