Who all flew the american flag today in honor of our veterans? Also those in service today
I didn't unfortunately my flag is ripped and faded, I need to order a new one and drop my old one off at the VFW.
Mine is up everyday, but I did get a new one today.
Every day here
Every day, with pride. Not a veteran, but have the utmost respect for every one of our Veterans.
Public service message........
For those who need a quality US flag, did you know that you can order one from your congressman's web site?
The flags are inexpensive ($19 in nylon/ $20 cotton, both flown over the Capitol). They'll even come with a certificate if you so desire.
TX has the same service for a State flag. Most if not all states have a similar service.
I fly mine Presidents day, Armed Forces day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, 9/11 and Veterans Day.
Always up here.
Fly mine 24/7 24hrs aday.Have a spotlight that comes on at dusk and off at dawn.
Thank you!!! Not to many know that you should not fly the AMERICAN flag after dusk without a dedicated light or in the rain. I am not a veteran but my father, his brother, my son in-law(Iraq) and others I know! I was not allowed otherwise I would have been in vietnam. Mark
I am a veteran. And flew my flag 365. With a light on it.
I have not yet installed my flag pole at the new house.
and that is not an excuse.
I need to get that flag pole up.
