There's a write-up about Finnegan's new engine in last month's Engine Builder magazine. It's a 5.000" bore space Brodix block with a 4.700 bore and " big" stroke, topped with Sonny Leonard hemi heads and displacing 711 CI. Leonard's shop assembled the engine and dynoed it, naturally aspirated on pump gas.

It made 1,275 HP.

With the two big turbos and intercooler, Mike says he expects it to make 2,000 HP. The Peterson hull weighs 420 lbs.

I suspect this jet bote will indeed go 100 MPH.
