Seems to be a lot of pills you can buy now to "fix" anything. I know some have helped me ( allergy pills ). I'm seeing more and more ads on TV which makes me think someone is making BIG BUCKS selling supplements. Some OTC vitamins I can understand but other things make me wonder. It seems everywhere I look there are ads for Balance of Nature". It's a high dollar item, It's also a local southern Utah company and their plans are to make it a lot bigger. A one month supply of dehydrated fruit and veggie tabs is almost $200, Anyone here use any supplements?

I take a few vitamin supplements, plus protein supplements now that I’m back to lifting weights.

I go by value and quality...determined by Labdoor ratings. They literally lab-test many supplements by brand name, and tell you if you’re actually getting what you pay for.

My parents were big into supplements when I was growing up. I swear all the vitamin C and Bee Pollen my mom gave me rid my allergies. I never, as an adult was big into them, until the pandemic. Since then I've been taking a Costco multi vitamin, fish oil, and D. I've also recently just added the powdered apple cider and also the Weider Prime Testosterone booster from Costco. I do feel overall healthier and with more energy while taking them. As far as the testosterone booster goes, the morning wood has been way more prevalent since I've started so I would assume that is a good thing 😁

Balance of Nature I think is what my wife tried from a friend of hers. She really liked them, said she felt great. Her friend said she gives them to her girls and they never get sick. I dunno. She hasn't bought them yet though so.... My wife is a supplement junkie. Her latest find are these GOLI gummies. They have an Apple Cider Vinegar Gummy and an Ashwa....something gummy. I will say that in the month we'd had them I've never slept better. and hangovers are nonexistent. If my blood pressure and cholesterol get better too, great.

My GF buys super amazing coffee and creamer online. It’s like $2 a pod and I don think it tastes good so I stick with my French roast. I can’t believe how overpriced it is and the ridiculous claims they make about losing weight etc.

I buy cherry pills on amazon for my gout and I think they work pretty good as a natural remedy I haven’t had a real case in 3 years. My GF works in a chiro office and they sell all kinds of supplements and she gives me the vitamins for men’s sexual health and they don’t do shit for me. I just take 1/2 a viagra bought from an overseas pharmacy and I’m good.

If it’s expensive then it’s a scam in my opinion. There is no magic formula out there worth $200 a bottle but if you find something that works let us all know

I figured for $30 it's worth a try. I'm 49, slightly overweight 😂 , and may drink a few. It recommends 2 pills a day, but I just opted for one. I feel less lethargic and tired and like I said there is noticeable change while I'm sleeping 🦴 which leads me to believe it working 😁

He is what I have been taking for a couple years now. It has lowered my blood pressure (so did the move out of CA) and the price is reasonable. Their customer service is amazing and I have it set on a monthly delivery which also gives you a price break.

Whatever y'all do (and I'm sure as we age we all have some little helpers), has anyone looked into those pill shipment companies where you tell them what you take daily and they combine them into pre-packaged vacuum sealed squares so you can just grab and go instead of raiding the bottles or using a daily pill box?

I have that stuff in capsules, takes everything in me not to throw up when I take them. It does seem to help though, but talk about rough.
When the kids have a sore throat, we have them drink it...usually better the next morning. Could be considered child abuse!

I swear by grass fed beef bone broth. 4oz per day, drink like it's coffee. Nice flavor, like a beef soup. The natural collagen helps heal your gut which is where most of your health issues start. Beyond that, aches and pains of beating my body up daily are all but gone. If we travel or run out for several days, I'll actually feel a difference. Amy and I have been doing this for years and I trust this more than most supplements I've come across.
Shameless plug time: We sell this as a do it yourself kit complete with 5lbs of meaty bones, organic spices, pink Himalayan salt and Amy's easy recipe. Each batch makes 6 pints of the good stuff, more if you want to cook the bones down further. Pressure can or freeze extra jars, stores easy.
I have completely turned my health around in the last 5 years and feel like this has been a big part of that.
$25.00 for everything and we do home/business delivery to Havasu every other week. Joel 928-486-4043

Add veggies to flavor if you like, but not necessary. She adds them during garden season since we have so much.

Crock pot it all for 24hrs after roast the bones in the oven for 45 minutes with Braggs apple cider vinegar.

Just eat healthy and you will be fine. If ya wanna get big, get on the gear. That’s what I do. Amazing how many people work out, eat pretty good but drink a lot of beer and wonder why they are over weight still. Supplements IMHO are a waste of money unless you are treating Gout etc. Just eat better people. I don’t speak from experience because I don’t eat breakfast, eat small portion of fast food at lunch, drink coffee all day, get home and eat regular dinner and drink probably 3 more cups of coffee and sleep like a baby. I am never sick and never had the flu. But I’m 54 so I’ll probably have a heart attack tomorrow and die. But really, supplements are a big waste of money. Like he said, companies are making fat cash

For many of us who stay up late, cant sleep, wake up early- we have all seen the commercials to be bigger, taller, wrinkle free, shrink this and grow that we can be smarter and buffed become a stud and improve our eye sight, obviously it doesn't work, Scan the gang at the channel this past weekend, people watch at Disneyland, a baseball game or a county fair, us Americans sure like to eat and drink, I know, I'm one of them. "Buff in a Bottle" is the modern "Snake Oil" bilking folks out of millions of dollars each year. And don't EVEN get me started on the "Try for Free" gimmick when it takes an act of congress to cancel the "free" auto shipments.
I'm still waiting for that Magic Bullet to get me back to my early 20's but for now- eat as healthy as I can, try and exercise a bit each day and call it good.

Fiber daily
I forgot to mention this is the most important to me. I've been taking Costco fiber (Metamucil) for the last 20 years. It is the first thing I do when I get to the kitchen in the morning. I take one teaspoon with a cold glass of water. I don't know what I would do without it. I've got several friends that take it because of me also. I always get the "i'm already regular" when I tell them to try it. You will save 100 times the purchase price of the fiber on less toilet paper over your lifetime. I do not go anywhere without it. Especially when i'm either at the river or camping when I tend to drink and eat like shit from dawn until dusk which can throw your digestive system all out of wack! Your wives will love you as the flagellants slow down to almost none and if you do sneak one out, they tend to be odorless 😁

I am the exact same, just in reverse and after the first supplement, I often forget the rest. 🍺 😆
