2005 Volkswagen Golf TDI (coveted 1.9L pump deuce) :

-5-speed manual
-97,000 miles
-GLS model: Power windows, power locks, cruise control, sunroof, heated front seats

-Paint is tired in a few spots
-consistently gets 40+mpg

I have owned this terrific car for almost three years. This VW is a blast to drive. Great torque, incredible gas mileage and a breeze to get around in. My daughter is out of state for college and will not need a car. I have three VWs and my truck. Hate to see it go. Why buy a Prius for way more money and give up a good driving experience. For kicks, I drove it last week to downtown San Diego from Santa Clarita for a conference and back; used half tank of gas.
