Bug glass, fronts, rears and sides. One of my son's friends left a stack in my shop 4-5 years ago and they're free to anyone that wants the stack. I have no idea what years they fit.
Shop location?

His shop is in Huntington Beach area. MAW is a good dude 👍🏼
Uh oh, what did I do to deserve this. ;)

As said, Huntington Beach but can drag them out to Havasu some weekend if that makes a transfer easier.

Spotted this on the WB 91 yesterday morning by green river. Assuming it was headed to the meet. Never seen a VW with a pop open rear window before.

We had to be within a couple cars of each other. I saw that guy at the exact place you took that picture. Traffic was building. It was probably around 8am(ish). We were headed to Newport to bar hop and ride bikes.

I was headed to Long Beach. Did you have 3 bikes in your truck? I love bar hopping in Newport on bikes.

… Had a 67 bug… First year of the 12 V… …white with black interior… Bursh exhaust …Porsche chrome rims and hubcaps… I bought it from a guy in Burbank with 2000 miles on it…paid him $1750 for it… put a Muntz 4 track tape player in it… I put close to 100,000 miles on it in two years… The majority of those were to Parker …to the Polynesian..: The ride across the dessert in that car was spectacular …particularly if you had just rolled up a big fat one …and weren’t quite sure where you exactly were???… the 4 track music put it all in the perspective…
… The Beatles magical mystery tour… The stones her Satanic majesties request…And The Collecters… Who became Canada’s national band… Changed their name to Chilliwack???…oh yeah.., Vanilla Fudge Was pretty big about then…
… sold it because I needed the money for college… The guy that negociated the deal for his non english speaking cousin turned out to be a kid that I had taught English to in the sixth grade… This guy was no dummy first he became a pharmacist and now I heard he is a lawyer in Pasadena… I was going to stay firm at $1450 for it… but my old sixth grade friend decided that I should sell it to his cousin for $1175… And for some stupid reason I did???…

Sorry to side track - Anyone know what the deal is with the red 65ish bug sitting on the side of the house on S. Kiowa at Weldon (been there so long it's even on google street view and it appears Google hasn't been up that street in at least 2 years). Has a nice polished motor is dropped and has Porsche Alloys on it. But it just sits out year after year rotting in the sun on the side of the dudes house. Every time I pass it, I'm like, "I'd take that!" LOL
It’s been there at least the 8 years I’ve lived here. I think the same thing everytime I drive to AJs. I don’t have time to play with the one I have though 👎

Might have the perfect set for you. I have a pair of dellorto 40's on my motor but I'm going blow thru EFI. They were just rebuilt by a well respected guy on The Samba. I promised him I'd give him the 1st chance if I sold them but I can let you know if he doesn't want them.
Just picked a pair of 40 dellortos need a recommendation for some body to take a look at them. They look rebuilt

I'll send you a PM. The guy who did mine works out of his house in Simi Valley and he is incredible! He'll rebuild them and bench test them on a motor.

Featherly is one of the nicest shows in SoCal. Lots of shade, slow drags, good people, camping, great times....
Here's a few photos from a few years back. Miss my little brown baja for sure.

I heard somebody decided to tag the guest bathrooms. All it takes is one asshole to ruin the whole deal. Just like parado, great place but the idiots ruined it for everybody.

Drove a VW from 86' to 92' it was my Christmas present when I was 14. Restored it, found a cute girl with a similar Bug and wam bam it's 36' years later, 3 kids and twin grand sons later... Will always have a soft spot for those dam bugs... My nephew is still rockin mine, I gave it to him a a decade or so ago. I gotta see if I can find some more pics. I had fiberglass rear fenders (no flares) built up on the inside, we cut them to fit the running boards better and I was running weld super lites on the bug, 15x3 in front 15x7 in the rear. I had my BIL drill my break drums to a chevy bolt pattern and we pressed in studs, worked like a charm.

While at Old Town in Huntington Beach today for services for a friend I spied a car show going on through the "streets" inside. Probably +100 cars being displayed, some really cool and unique models. Perfect venue for this marque.

That split window is awesome. Looks like it came from the factory, well, maybe not the rag but it’s beautiful.
