That is really nice. Now can you actually ski?
You want the Tyro/Dave bet?
I saw the wrap he did on Justins long board and was really impressed. Hence the wrap on my 360. With the new bindings and wrap it's gonna look really nice.
Go with a freeride type of ski. They are wider, comfortable and offer some performance. Get the lace up bindings, they will allow you to ski longer than your back will. Key, remember to NOT bring the rope in by doing curls, arms always straight and you'll ski longer.Bump. Seeing how the GF called my bluff and bought me a life jacket to start skiing again, I'm on the hunt for a water ski. What are the slalom skis of choice these days?
Hard to beat a 360.

Looks kick ass. What's the story on the wrap/cover?
It was a beat up fiberglass ski I sold a buddy. He just sent me these pics. Nice way to make a beat up ski look good.
Maha 360 Hammer. They're nice. Super easy ski

Someone keeps buying them all up. One would think that they are a 10' schiada [emoji6]

Beautiful ski. I skied on a 360 for the first time a few weeks ago and I'd have to agree. Unless your running buoys, this is the board to ride.
Good luck in your hunt. The 360s pop up on occasion but when they do you have to jump on them.
I have one of the big HO's if you want to try, easy to get up on and ride.

Riding a Big ho, sorta like riding a moped. Fun to do, just don't want your friends to see you doing it. So to speak...I have one of the big HO's if you want to try, easy to get up on and ride.

Any suggestions on length? What bindings should I go with ?
Go to Sports Chalet, rent a Big Daddy for a day, and get your groove back.
Factory is 190-250 for the 69, and given your vertical situation I'd stay with the 69 unless you are looking to add another 20 anytime soon. I've been happy with these guys http://www.perfski.com/ see if they have last year's model and you can choose bindings. Btw go with the rtp (rear toe piece) that way you can one foot start, which is much easier for starts after a long time off. As well, shore starts are still possible after a long nape.I like this one. Im 5'11 240 lbs right now. not sure if I should go with a 69'' or a 71'':hmm

I got up on RD's Big Daddy Ski a few summers ago, I was in horrible shape and I was a smoker. I'm fairly certain I can get my groove back if I dedicate a weekend to strictly skiing on a new to me ski

http://www.hosports.com/product-detail.php?id=waterskis-freeride. HO has some nice ones, as does Radar, and others. Choose the bigger ski based on the weight range.
What do you guys think about something like this for someone 5-9" - 6' in the 185lb range?

tap tap if it's a good deal...lol
Size should be ok. It's a mid range ski, here's a good comparison article: http://www.waterskimag.com/features/2008/05/01/find-the-right-ski/ the Triumph has a really wide forebody which helps the ski carry the top end weight but it's shape will limit the performance a bit. For cruising and wake jumping it looks like a good deal, IMHO.What do you guys think about something like this for someone 5-9" - 6' in the 185lb range?

Here's a HO chart : Looks like your close to either one . If I keep gaining weight I'll need the 71" . Your welcome to try my 69" next time we're in Havi !!!
