Sorry your having these issues RD. I do have a friend that finds hackers like these for the biggest porn site. Maybe SHE could help.

I’d be interested in that.. hopefully tomorrow or the day after we will have this resolved.. after that I am very interested in the tracking down part.

@RiverDave I would be overall concerned that someone wants to hurt this site and you personally. To spend this amount of money and time. Who knows what lengths they will go to in order to hurt you financially or personally. It would just concern me, these are crazy times in this world. I would most certainly be on high alert in all aspects of my daily life at this point.

After reading all posts I can’t believe someone hasn’t given the fix, guys there is the simple solution, every time I call my IT guys “turn it off and turn it back on” 🤷🏻‍♂️ Or unplug 🔌 it for 10 seconds, it always works! 😂

Kidding aside. Hope you get it figured out at the least cost to you possible. The RDP brain trust has impressed me before.

Can we for 100% for certain confirm this is a DDOS attack? If so, Throwing more bandwith and HP at the servers will get some breathing room, but its not a cure all.
Dave keep your eyes peeled, if someone is really this serious about knocking the site down, Id be concerned like mentioned earlier about personal safety also.

@RiverDave it has come to my attention that lurkers are getting the "Forbidden" message.

They were testing some geo blocking yesterday and at one point everyone was getting it. Like I said we are working on it, and have been working on it for days.

This started Monday, timing makes me wonder how many others and if same group is responsible. Phone numbers across most Hosted platforms, I have hundreds of clients affected, pretty much all of them. My phone hasn't blown up like this in the 10 years of managing these types of systems as well as the constant flow of status emails from support. 1st time I could not route around the problem.

If you wanted to hit a major player would you hit several small players to create more difficulty in getting found out? IDK

Yeah, we have had issues with all of our lines at the office. I have a virtual business line with Talkroute and it was down all day Monday and was down off and on yesterday. Nobody could get through. Phone companies said it was a large scale attack against a very large carrier that trickle down into everyone.

This bandwidth deal is fucked! We had no phones because of it. We use VOIP and our numbers are ported from a bandwidth provider. Tuesday they were back up, but could only call out, incoming calls it would ring, but as soon as you picked up they couldn't hear you. So you would have to call them back. Fucked up deal.

So you're getting lots of phone calls all of the sudden
I received lots of trouble calls on a scale I've never had before since selling these types of phone systems. When I set a business up with a phone system rarely does the system have issues, Logmein GoToConnect formerly Jive Communications, usually internet or something in the network is off. I rarely work more than 3 or 4 hours a month so the phone doesn't ring much, I must be doing something right.

The posts above are what's happening across the board. Now it's better, but not done. Latest was Verizon wireless couldn't call GoToConnect clients, not sure if this happening to other providers although it wouldn't surprise me.

I have been getting messages about networks down over the past week. Major players and others affected. Probably just large scale and RDP got rolled up in it.
