Have an issue with some landscaping.
Two fountains on timers. Same circuit as the low voltage lights.
The issue is, in the evenings when the light turn on, pops the GFI. I’ve replaced the outlet with a new one. And that where I have to stop. Not an electrician at all.
Should we separate these two items ans give them there own breakers?
Like to have someone come fix it, I pay you. Done. [emoji106][emoji106]

Do you have GFCI plugs at both locations?

if yes, that’s your problem. You only need 1 GFCI at the start of the run to protect the rest of the outlets. When you have more than 1 GFCI on the same circuit they confuse the other one into thinking there’s an electrical spike and shut down.

turn off the breaker
take your plugs apart
get a touch sensor

make sure the hot wires aren’t touching or right next to anything and flip your breaker back on
use the tester to see which wire is hot and reinstall the GFCI at that location and put a standard plug at the other location
